  6. I like the 3rd option but maybe we could have a vote!!! I mean it's all theory but Dale has a parts car that could be revived with the skill we have available on this forum. Keep thm ideas coming guys, i'd love to see this go from Theory to Practical.
  7. Ok i know a while ago a car came up on ebay and we discussed a project Auszcar Build. Now i know that some members would like to keep the parts they have private but remember this is just Theory ie; could it be done. I have 2 spare cylinder heads Rear Taillights (2 seater) One Seat Complete Dash Door hardware Would it be possible for us Victorians to piece together a complete Zed out of our spare parts?
  8. I've got two jobs at the moment, one is outside and with the constant rain it's hard to get to. The other is painting Dale's Zed and it's still a bit cold to do that. It's only just run in and is sounding great, pity i have to strip it down again but the new cylinder head (on the previous page) should Pep it up a fraction.
  9. Yep, the dash was actually grey as i suspected so i repainted it and it looks perfect, thanks again peter. Only weird thing is that working clock...after 13 years it's a bit hard to get used to.
  10. Cold air intake, 2" Ramtubes, 45mm Dellortos, Kameri Manifold, Stainless steel valves, Shaved, Cc'd, ported N42 head, Crow cam and Valve springs, ARP head bolts, 280ZX Electronic ignition, Full balance, Chrome rings, 40 thou overbore, Hypertec pistons, Modified crank, Genie headers, Apart from that theres the 140 amp alternator, Aluminium radiator! No dyno session yet and i still have to fit the cylinder head.
  11. ... I just can't help but post a photo of the L26 every now and then
  12. Due to the rain i've been working on Oscar this week. The dash has been removed and then i removed the dash cap. I think the photos speak for themselves
  13. The list of parts i still have to purchase is getting very small, a couple of more Gees and i'll be there. Looking to finish around April next year
  14. PM sent!
  15. Just wondering if anyone has a 260Z Dash Badge hanging around or alternatively know where to buy one?
  16. Another set of Triple Webers in the States at a resonable price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-240z-260z-280z-triple-40DCOE-webers-manifold-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ160472751253QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  17. The shims are 1mm and i'm using them because the new Cylinder Head is shaved, i think the dash is awful nice too. We'll see tomorrow.
  18. There's a place here in Ballarat that makes them. http://www.hemco.com.au/seatbelts.html
  19. Well after an Awsome weekend Helping rob (fuzzydropbear) out with his project and a Full On trip down to Phillip Island the car needed a bit of a wash. Also the pile of parts that need to be fitted grows ever larger with a Dash that i picked up off Peter when down at Phillip Island (with a working clock) and a set of camshaft tower shims that completes the list of everything that i need to install the cylinder head. Happy Days indeed. I swear everytime i walk even close to my car with a Parcel it's almost as if the front changes from it's current look to something that says "For Mee"
  20. Some other rides and such...
