  1. 1986 N13 pulsar is another. Found that out when my brain said, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon, don't listen to simon. It was rather insistant for some reason :-\
  2. This is how it was done http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,3183.0.html
  3. Ok lol, i won't let you all know the detail until it's all said and done but i've got the bit to build a very nice 490Z.
  4. where the hell have you been hiding this ... this is perfect for my 302 V8 project. I want it.
  5. Well i'm going to unusually critical here... it all looks a bit busy hey? The side strips i would ditch. Door refectors / protectors, Yuk. Front chrome strip on bonnet ... gone. Mirrors. well Nup. I think the indicators are fine it's just all the other add ons that make it suffer, love the color but it's just so unusual. Mirrors are very 80's cheap ones like i had on mine when i bought it. Hey it's just my opinion. Still a very nice ride just dosen't need all that bull crap on it.
  6. Hey can you post up a photo of your setup so we can take a look, you might have a rare setup there. For Australia anyways
  7. Should still be able to get them lights i would think. I still have my old ones sitting in the garage. I replaced them with H4's.
  8. Gee it's funny but you don't reasise how far things have come when you've locked horns with a project until you look at old photos. I remember the good old Twin Carb days but it seems a mile away.
  9. I've got the wiring loom right here It has two plugs for that gauge Three pin plug Green/ white stripe Black Red Six pin plug Black Green Blue Green Yellow Red/ Blue stripe
  10. I know the wiring is different on the 260Z as i bought a dash with the same fuel/volt gauge. Different color code for that gauge. I still have the under dash wiring to suit.
  11. I wanted to do the trailer thingy with a 2+2 as well but i had this. The roof will stay and have a Ricer style spoiler fitted to store ladders on.
  12. With weather still holding us up we have been kept Busy constructing a new work bench from scrap steel we borrowed from the Big W skip. Came up well for just over $100.
  13. Hey jus a quick Quiz... did the hinges come apart to get plated?
  14. Just straighten chassis was $2400 i think.
  15. This is dales car before and after (der) that has been straightened.
  16. The pictures didn't seem to come out Buddy :-\
  17. Yea one of those would be nice in mine too
  18. Oh fudge, and there's the seatbelts and alloy radiator too. OmG where is my head at? I guess we obtain parts on availability, not sequence.
  19. Gee it's unreal but i've gone from body to cooling to custom plates to engine to interior on my repaint excercise ... easy to get distracted Hey ?
  20. Hey could you put some Pictures up, please?
  21. Yep, best of both worlds. 240Z for yourself and the other for a runabout (i'm assuming you'll buy the 2+2 back...or donate it to the club for a project car) Do it do it do it do it Do It NOW.
  22. I only shimmed the towers 1mm, didnt want to go higher because of the changing rocker geometry. As it sits now it has a perfect wipe with the Crow Cam and 1mm shims, right in the centre. Once i get the new cam wheel i might get Peter to help me dial it in. It is a street motor with an Auto after all and i need Torque and Power to be in a specific range to suit my setup. And no i Will Not Change to a manual.
  23. I spoke to Peter last night as he explained the Dymanics of dialing in a cam so i adjust it to position 3 to compensate for the shaved cylinder head which helped heaps but i feel it needs an adjustable cam wheel so that'll be next on the cards either this one http://www.kameariusa.com/L6_Campulley.php Or this one http://www.datsport.com/chain-rollmaster-kit.html
  24. Slave cylinder are $15 up here new. Just need a box now, there was one on ebay last week under 280Z.
