Well after a week of switching between jobs i went on to complete all bodywork in preperation for paint. I'll really have to list the steps we have taken as it's been primer fill sand, primer fill sand and so on (including a dropped pot of primer in the engine bay) as it's been quite a process. Pics up and even i must say, orange is looking sweet and well on it's way back to recovery.

I'm really thinking about trying to make it quick release by using the offset bolt system that some suspension units use, so i can lock it down and push it out a little and then remove it if i need to transport anything. Then some black powder coat.

And there we have it... Took me a couple of hours but this will double as a mount for another piece of equipment to be installed soon.

Well a while ago i made two plates for a strut brace and when dale and i were fishing in the Big W bin i found another piece i thought was the right looking piece. So i Fabbed up four brackets. Then using the most modern devices for measuring and alingment i modified the four brackets and welded it together.

The white 2+2 actually had hubcaps with Genuine 240Z Steel Rims underneath They be worth a few Bob ... Was a lovley old gentlman that owned it too but he was too embarassed to lift the bonnet

Moving on up... it seems a soon as one is finished the other gets the Lovin it needs. Dale should like this, bodywork will be completed this week, ready to paint. Oh seen a nice rod at the paint shop today too.
