  2. Hey guys, I may be able to get hold of 2 X 260z but need somewhere to store them or some workshop space to work on one and store one. Doesn't have to be free! need to know ASAP. Cheers, Rev.
  3. Looks fantastic man, well done! how about a quick primer coat on the flares then a shot of black and a sand so that they 'blend' with the style? Rev.
  4. Could it be a vacuum issue with the booster? I had a similar issue with my 260z in the States, fixed the booster and perfect. Rev.
  5. Be aware that if you stiffen and lower your springs you can run ZG flares without cutting the guards, I get a small scrappe every know and then on rough road or a hard turn into a tight corner but otherwise all good. Rev.
  6. Mick just remember mate that my guy is back from Hols mid Jan and we can get everything started for you. Happy New Year mate (Cuz) Rev.
  7. Looks awesome, well done!
  8. Kobes, I think Adelaide is closed for renovation that week! Cheers, Rev
  9. Good advice from Lurch mate, use what works well now without spending lots of cash and make sure the body is great, you can 'tinker' from there! Rev.
  10. I hear ya Craig! this wouldn't be happening to the green Zed, this would be a 'maybe' new project. Thought it might be a bit of fun being that I need to get the creative juices flowing, either that or I might think about taking on someone elses project and giving them a hand.
  11. Thinking about a new project...and love this style, thoughts. Rev.
  12. if anything you just want to throw a coat of etch primer over the car after blasting so that you can sand through it and weld etc. You can't put POR15 on a the car and then hope to spray over it, the chemical makeup of Por makes it impervious (unless you dust coat it at exactly the right point in its curi ng process) thus rendering a topcoat impossible. If you etch which will hold off any surface rust, do your repairs sand and then go with the Polyester you wont have any probelms with your topcoat. Cheers, rev
  13. I'm very tempted!!! so much that I'm checking to see if I can get some time off. Rev.
  14. You can get an attachment (like a hose with a nozzle) that will go on the end of a venturi type spraygun where you can spray a variety of materials (I wouldn't go with fish oil or anything as it stinks and the smell never goes) I've used a lanolin type product which had good write ups, however you won't really see the benefits for 10+ years (to see if it works!) Rev.
  15. not sure of the backspace but as you can see by the fitment on my Zed they were perfect. Any interest otherwise I'll have to get them up on EBAY? Rev.
  16. Hey Steve, I'm working on something at the moment. How soon are you wanting to do your interior and what parts are you wanting to replace? and what type of vinyl, diamond/plain? Rev.
  17. Hi Guys, I've got 5 genuine CSA 14X6 period correct mags wheels with 95% tyres. They are polished with ZERO gutter rash. Probably the best example i've seen. Came off my 260z when I went to the the Rota's. $500...bargain! If you are doing your zed to look 70's these are the rims you've been waiting for.
  18. I'm helping Ian out with the Towbar, I'm in Pakenham so anyone going past to Lurchos workshop day is welcome to pick it up. I can't go due to work commitments. Rev.
  19. Great Job Stiv, love your work man! Rev.
  20. Hey guys, I've been working on upgrading the interior of the Zed and about to get some more 'pleather' patterns cut out for the riser, wheel arches and strut towers, inner doglegs, and front windscreen supports, hand brake cover, sun visors, trans tunnel etc. I may be able to get some good pricing on this and this guys work is quality without the BIG bucks. Let me know if you're interested, as I'm hoping to get this done in January. Cheers, Rev.

    Drive day

ummmm....serious driver who is seriously not available on Sundays! guess I'm out...didn't know Gordo was a Mormon! Rev.
  22. This was a good read at 11:30pm last night! I think this is the greatness of this forum, people can express their views. As someone said this is a forum not a club, i guess we have all blurred the lines a little simply by appreciating one anothers friendship. For many of us we are not names on a forum we are faces and people who enjoy our cars and getting to hang out when the opportunity arises. If it takes the formation of a club to appropriately and expediently accomodate club reg and we get to continue the investment of friendships that are already in place then I think it is worth actioning. Rev
  23. Thanks Gordon, So great to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones. Thanks for making this day possible and big thanks for the trophy. Rev.
  24. They say throw enough mud and eventually some of it sticks...mud has been thrown and sticking on this issue for years! You gotta do a whole lot of good work over a long time to clean up that mess! Rev.
