2+2 with a trailer load of parts?

Not a lot happening ATM. Unless you count problems, clutch master on Red died, and Yellow decided to destroy the rings (large clouds of oil smoke out the exhaust, and I mean large) cyl 4,5 & 6. The car has always been a slug so a rebuild was always on the cards. Will have to try the engine in the parts car and see if we car get that one to fire.

Basically free air delivery at the tap, often compressors are rated at the pump displacement. Much like cars engine kw at the flywheel (manufacturer) vs ATW. (At the wheels- truer result)

As a gernal rule its recomended that minimum of 12cfm (free air) for spray painting. Basically buy big and do it once. I bought a 2.5hp, 4.8cfm (free air) unit, which struggles to keep up on basic tasks, but I only pd $50 brand new.

Exactly what I was going to say. Nissan approved the fitting of L28 engine in the 240/260 z in the 1980s. As the manufacturer of the car has approved the fitment of the engine it is classified as effectively standard equipment (orig) therefore is no requirements to upgrade steering/brakes to 280z specs. You may need to maintain emission control paraphernalia. Geelong vic roads are absolute idiots, they held the old man up for over 90min looking for a chassis number stamped into the firewall (does not exist) on a 1978 Lotus Esprit, which he has owned and been rego at same address in geelong all its life. Reason - could be stolen!

I think they are more comfortable than the std seats in the other cars. I will drop them into Red shortly and go for a drive, should be able to set the tokico shocks to 5 and have some fun.

Mx5 seats installed. One of the simplest things so far, used the std Mx5 rails, bit of triming, drill one hole and they are in. They sit very low but clear everything, might have to use some spacers (losing the war on gravity) but time will tell.

I was thinking the same thing Ben, looks to be one of the very first s2 cars - fuse box over - centre console - speedo, etc are all from s2, unless there has been some transplanting of parts going on. As far as I know, indicators in the guards didn't come out until very late 73, so those are newer panels.
