  2. What seats are you going to use Rev? I thiught you were talking about Suzuki Cappachino seats a while ago.
  3. I heard that the a position had become available at BBC2, and the Stig was standing aside for a better driver.
  4. Scoota was it 'Gerard Gayle' that rebuilt your gearbox in Ballarat 18mths ago! Another option for you.
  5. Sounds like the ballarat branch just got its fifth member. You should be able to get most things you need locally here in the Rat. If you need parts let me know, I have a parts car with spare diff (3.5), and a semi complete 260 2+2 front end under the house for suspension parts. Zero, four, three, eight, three, one, six, seven, one, one. Dale

    MX5 seats

Looking for information/suggestions on where to find MX5 seats and how much to pay. - In or around Melbourne. and/or alternatively RX-7 http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,1180.0.html Both are impossible to find in Ballarat. Thanks
  8. Good luck with the sale Stewart. BTW - what does the switch below the cigarette lighter operate. My 72 has nothing there! Dale
  9. Don't know were you got the 302ci from Scoota, but its a 460ci with 18psi boost and 300hp shot of NOS. Overkill
  10. Except Scoota's shinny alternator died after only 3 months and way replaced with a 120amp commondoor one, as I understand it. Calling scoota...

  12. Very nice work Andrew, car is a credit to you. What orange did you use? My car will be ready for paint in a few weeks and I am seriously considering the PPG - 60636 orange. Dale
  13. re the cowl just don't use a 260z part it is different not sure if the early 240z is different to he later 240z but someone else might know. Learn something new every day. Specifically, what are the differences! I had never noticed, but that could be because I have only ever had one 260.
  14. I had #37? many years ago with all the same early production parts you have mentioned. I tracked its build date to approx 11/70. #518 (still have) was built approx 2/71 based on my investigations. I would like to see the car refreshed back to original condition, but that's just my preference, esp considering how original it is to start with. At the end of the day its your car and you can do what you want with it. Dale
  15. I am running Toyota hilux 4 spots, and still run 14' rims. So 15' should clear easily.

  20. As subject suggests, I am after some front overriders for a 240z. Don't care about the condition of the rubber. Thanks Dale

  23. You have not been trying hard enough. PS you can fit four big blokes in a 2 seater and drive around for a while. But it helps if three of them are very drunk.
