Myself and Biggels240z went along. In addition to our cars there was a - White 2+2 with a big bonnet scoop, B&M shift, running a windsor v8 - 240z with customised rear quarters, the rear 1/4 windows were deleted and replaced with metal. No pics from me.

Hi All I went along to the Bacchus Marsh car show on Sunday 1/2/9 and I was the only zed, which isn't unsual. The organisers got a nice mix of trucks, bikes and european models as well as the usual f & h's. **********REMINDER************* Picnic at Hanging Rock car show is on Sunday 8 February 2009 (This Sunday) $20 entry 2500+ cars NDSOC are driving up together so if you want to do the convoy thing from the big smoke check out http://www.ndsoc.com.au./ Good chance to give the cars a shake down before the Thredbo run.

I found one of my 240z's in a farmers barn in Western Victoria. The old cocky put a for sale notice on the general store public notice board and a family friend saw it and told me. His son had bought the car, driven it for a few months, moved to Geelong and left the car. The car was laid up for 12yrs in a dry machinary shed, wedged in next to the harvester and driven around the home block twice a year, once to get the harvester out and again a month later to get the harvester back in. I think I know the one you are refering to Sulio, I have a couple of mags with articles about a guy putting a hemi in a zed. One was the straight Hemi and another with the same car different hemi but boosted from memory. If you are interested I can post up pdfs.

Don't know if this will help but my taco wouldn't work after I put the dash back in the car. Car ran fine, I did over 1000km like that, turned out the be the wires on the coil were reversed. The taco was trying to read a -ive pluse? and it was receiving a +ive one, therefore no reading. FYI the car has a L28, on 240z carbs, so not efi Warning- Check with someone who know more than me before trying it!

That car of his is a wepon i was lucky enough to spend 1/2 a day in the passenger seat in tasmania a few years ago. When 22psi of boost kicks in that thing flies, 4wd and 200+kw atw. Craig, With all these car shows its just a matter of timing, we get there b/w 8-8.30am and the line-up was a whole 5 cars, and you get the best parks. Getting out was easy to, if you plan on leaving at 2pm be prepared to wait. If you wait you can see all the cars leaving - park a chair at the gate and enjoy. Really depends how committed to these events you are, for me most of these events is a 6hr return trip, so I stay a while, more driving in the zed yea. Dale
