Alright guys, it's come time to sell the 6 banger out of my 240. I don't really know any specs on this motor, except it used to run 45mm webbers and has double valve springs. When I brought the car it was running around Mt Cotton, pulled and revved hard. Motor was running when taken out of the car. 500 bucks neg Also have two sets of headers that can go with it.

hay thanks mate off the top of ya head do you know what there worth and availability's like reason i ask is i have the opportunity to get a hole 280 fa 1ooo bucks and really want ta know should i grab it while i can the issue i have is storage and am fast running outa space :-\

Hay lads i got a question for yas it may sound silly 2 some but the fact is i don't know. theres a guy 2 doors down the street thats got a 280 (In good nick from what i can see) that was going but now just sits there, for sale for a 1000 bucks now after going to the wreckers today and seeing a smashed up one for 2500 i thought that a 1000 bucks could be a cheap z ? My second question is what diff came out in the 280s ? its the same type thats in this pic

Well lads I have been working me ass of for 2 weeks and so far i have managed to repair and block all panels and doors i have glassed the headlight pods to main panels (both front guards,rear hatch and bonnet are fiberglass) and filled joins and repaid some rust in the top right cnr where hatch hinge is also repaired the ass end it was a little outa shape . Now i just have to work out where me bonnet and hatch pins are guna mount then shes good fa paint

Hay lads, just thought i would introduce my self. I'm 30 live in brizy and am a proud owner of a 1971 240z i bought the car of a mate who was going to race it (car was a shell but 80% there) but he had to sell and there was no way i was guna let someone ells buy it. I haven't really worked to hard on it over the years (5) until recently where i have put alot of time into the body and plan to paint it in the new ford focus orange in the next few weeks. the plans for it at this stage is to put a 355 i mean 304 in it. i know some Will think this will wreck it but thats what I'm guna do sorry. you will be hearing alot more of me so here i am
