  1. hey guys and gals, time to clear out my shed a little as ive decided to go down a different path. $350 L6 turbo manifold in good condition comes with factory heat shield (same as pictured) $150 ono locked L28E dizzy, good for a basic turbo setup, was on running car with no issues (fairly new cap and rotor button). im open to reasonable offers if both go. cheers pauly
  2. you after na or turbo mani ?
  3. the turbo manifold is a L20ET small port manifold, the cam is a stock L28E A grind camshaft.
  4. after tearing 2 of them i just welded it solid , i couldnt get one at the time either
  5. change your condensor and if that doesnt fix it, look at your coil
  6. aus L26's only got the E88 at least 260z did, mines Dec 1977 and a mate of mines is jan 1978 both have E88 heads
  7. seemed too tighten mine up a fair bit, it still had some movement in it though, for the sake of $15 may as well do it whilst the box is out
  8. at the centre plate of the box there should be a 2 or 3 nuts the same size and 1 on the side, they hold some springs and ball bearings in place which keep the shafts in check, replace all of them. it may help and very cheap to replace
  9. i cant help you with the wheels but do yourself a favor, replace your ball joints in the front and do not use wasp suspension ones, use roadsafe or genuine. mine was shaking at that exact speed, i done everything you done which fixed the prob temporarily, it then started to shake really violently under brakeing, need less to say the ball joint snapped clean out of the socket it scared the pants out of me.
  10. i drove a targa top 280zx and hated it, they have so much flex in the body, i own 2x 280zx hard tops and they are a completely different animal, they drive alot more like a 260z but not quite as taily
  11. can someone pm me gordons address, I should be able too make it, I just need a time for arrival as ill be about 3 ish hours away
  12. if your heading down in your your car Gav send me a message, we can get a convoy happening
  13. I have one or two C or C2 grind camshafts in the shed that are externally oiled, if you guys are paying that much im happy too sell them, as for performance my B4 grind camshaft is the best out for stock. I think so anyway
  14. hi guys, is anyone coming from coffs harbour to Sydney or Melbourne who would be willing to transport a gbox for me
  15. I would be looking at your spigot bush, could be thrust bearing also
  16. supercheap auto can get a full set, other wise SW motosport , precision international
  17. im not saying that all 225mm clutches are crap, but you will be paying over $1000 to get a decent one, a 240mm flywheel cost $150-200 then you can use many many more clutches and the cost is far less
  18. I should make it this year Lurch, might not be in a s30 or s130 but ill be in a z one way or another. cheers Cletus
  19. Hi mate with a 240mm flywheel everything bolts strait up and works fine , you may need a different thrust bearing collet. As Rb clutch is sometimes a bit short in height . if you get stuck just pm me I can talk you through it . I also have a spare 240mm flywheel if you get stuck
  20. if you had a tight budget idd go L28et, for around $3000-3500 you can make 250hp with no problem (mine puts out 200+ rwkw at 12psi) the torque will break everything though gearbox, diff axels etc. if you have the money I would go L33 stroker made by peter mc you will get a awesome torque curve and good power
  21. hey guys the wife has spoken and now I have 1 more L28 block left for sale, it has pistons, rods etc, I can supply head if needed (extra) im after $500 it is a F54. cheers pauly
  22. ditch your 225mm clutch it wont hold the power difference, get a 240mm flywheel then use a RB clutch, they are cheap and work well. I had a Exedy heavy heavy heavy duty button clutch in 225 mm and it exploded they cant handle the power
  23. sold both guys
  24. sorry after $500 each but am open to offers
