  1. SW=Software Thanks Gav! I was more curious as to the differences between JDM & AusZcar, & how differently JDM will work software wise
  2. I remember. I don't think I had my Turbo bits at the time though :-\

  5. Cheers for that info - Available from Courtesy Nissan I assume? A genuine Nissan MLS gasket will be perfect for the L28et...
  6. No worries Gav. Out of curiosity, what is the difference between the AusZcar site & forum SW, compared to the 'Vintage JDM' SW?
  7. Interesting site Gav. I take it there is not another site like it on the net, hence your reason for building it? Oh, have you got the early Mitsubishi’s too? BTW, I can I be a mod on the new forum??
  8. Dear Go... Lord! What an abortion! They must be smoking some REALLY good stuff up there to ask THAT sort of price...
  9. http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/tech/SpindlePinTool.htm I'm sure Rob Crichton would either have this tool already made up, or he could make one from the drawings. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,1861.0.html
  10. A bit of extra info regarding suitable pads for the Toyota calipers from 'Ben' in SA: Bendix data is as follows: 90-96 4-Runner: http://www.bendix.com.au/catalogue/images/DB1149_Inner_Outer.gif Forester/WRX/200SX/Z32/GTR: http://www.bendix.com.au/catalogue/images/DB1170_Inner_Outer.gif Very interesting, especially when you look at the LN65 Hilux (non-vented): http://www.bendix.com.au/catalogue/images/DB288.gif It makes me wonder whether there is more compatibility there than meets the eye...
  11. http://www.rallyinguk.com/datsun-240z-histoic-rally-car-i1785.html Looks nice - should be reasonably well built given the asking price... :o Perhaps you could bring it back with you Gav when you've made your fortune in Dublin?
  12. I've never heard of these bushes needing to be done...
  13. Head down to your local Bursons, Repco etc. They normally have one on the shelf. If you get that stuck, try Genuine Nissan.
  14. I positive it now runs a 25det box. I remember talking about it in the Safeway carpark in Belgrave after that insane cruise...
  15. I know Jack has a 25det box behind his L28et. I think someone mentioned it was modded in NSW... I know guys that do Drifting have them modded to suit their SR20's, so perhaps a look on nissansilvia.com might be helpful? BTW, where are you in Kwinana!?!?!?!? I'm currently in Rocko...

  17. ROFL!!! I only just saw that myself! Let me see if I can get that on the front page...
  18. Awesome vid, Sul! Your dedication to editing the footage together blows me away* - 3 thumbs up! Just a pity not more people came along for this fantastic event... :-\ *Please ignore homosexual connotations - not that there's anything wrong with that...
  19. Excellent write-up Zeddophile! Should help me when I start the next project... And thanks for the credit!
  20. Andrew, please post up a price - even 'Offers over '$X' amount'. You may have a completely different idea of what your Zed is worth, compared to someone else.
  21. I'd be fitting the 280ZX box complete as is, Steve. It looks to be in reasonable working condition. Keep the Perth box for spares...
  22. LOLZ! I love fishing!
  23. Buller is good fun but a long way to come just for the Weekend... Tassie would be more worthwhile, but it is more expensive. Just make sure you can afford it & have the $$$ in the bank BEFORE you leave...
  24. Seeing as you already have a L series Bellhouseing, what not try this: http://www.ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6393p Then, when you do your SR conversion, you just have to swap the SR bellhousing back over There's a couple of S13 box's on ebay ATM...
