    I'd be sticking with the flat tops. I doubt a DGV would give much of an increase anyway, considering the hassle of setting one up. From what I've been told, getting parts/kits for the flat tops isn't easy. I'd just leave them on for the track day & upgrade them after when time/$$$ allowes.

    Rich, what Nato said is VERY true. I run Ferodo DS2500 pads & Elf HTX115 Dot4 Mineral fluid, and I have NEVER had an issue with losing my brakes - esp. at Phillip Island & in Tasse. And I push my brakes to the limit... The simplest upgrade if you really do what to go bigger, is the late model Hilux 4spot calliper (use 'My00' WRX pads!) & mildly modded S13 rotor.

    Why do you need such a tall ratio? Are you building a land speed record breaking Zed? You can take what NZeder has said as gospel - no other factory ratio's taller than 3.1 were made. If you’re so desperate for a taller than factory ratio, you could always get a CW&P made. There are suitable machine shops in Australia that can do this for you.
