  1. As the title states, I’m after a L24 block (preferably a 240Z one: mid/rear bowl sump config.) complete with main caps. Would prefer virgin bore, with minimal corrosion & untouched welsh/freeze plugs. May consider a short motor or complete. And located in Victoria. Price: you tell me. Also a L26 crankshaft (preferably 260Z). Must have un-ground journals & be in VGC. And also located in Victoria. Price: you tell me. Contact: PM here or email: ljfowler (at) dcsi dot net dot au Or mobile: Zero four zero zero zero five four five seven two (after 5pm please) (Or alternatively I can call you).
  2. Ahhh so many laughs! You are all brillant Clouseau's in my book Kobes, I actually lived in WA for about 8 months from May '08 through to about Feb '09. The GFC forced me to return back to Vic. sadly, when I couldnt get work...

    L28 Help

Not unusual if the car has been sitting without any (or old) inhibitor for a while. The bock is probably just full of gunk...
  9. I'll donate a box of Latex gloves!
  10. Yeah I realize that, Dimitri :-\ BTW if it's wet & raining I won't be going & I dare say it'd be canceled/postponed if it is.
  11. Good stuff mate! Looks like we both might be one the road at the same time...
  12. I'll grab the rear strut brace/harness mount. Has it been used in the Zed & the scrutes at MSCA events been OK with it?
  13. You drive from Sydney to Tassie in your Mankini, Hunter, & I'll ban your sorry arse from this place, THEN delete YOUR interweb just to make sure it doesn't happen again. Yeah, you read right. I'll delete YOUR internet. I'M THAT POWERFUL.
  14. Load of bollocks. If your head come far enough forward in an accident in an early Zed, you'd have more to worry about than just your head hitting the steering wheel...
  15. Nice photos Simon I still dont know how Jason's Sports 2000 is allowed to run as a Grp Sa car with flares...
  16. OH & THIS is the burger:

  18. Oh Gowd, here we go...
  19. I don't mean to sound negative, but do you realize if you go the 'stroker' route, it'll cost you more & you'll probably go slower than a well built 2.8ltr...?
  20. C.A.R.

    240Z ?

    Ummm...
  21. Shut your Pie-Hole, you Merchant of Bog. I've got bigger issues going on atm (I can't decide on what hat to wear to work tomorrow). BTW your engine will be fine as it is - just drop the triples on it & go. It won't need a rebuild.
  22. It would help if you turned your monitor ON while viewing this forum. Please refer to BenZed's first post on the previous page.
  23. Knock? You mean detonation, Mark? I wouldn't worry about it - as long as you run PULP & don't have a stupidly high Static CR, it won't detonate. Heck, I have a L6 here with 10:1.1 Static CR & it's running 53deg. full advance on PULP & it doesn't knock...
  24. One is std & the other is turbo. Just measure the Dia. of your original pressure plate Mark to determine which is which. I'm betting it'll be the 225mm one.
