  1. More photos of the orange drag car. https://www.facebook.com/708176415926972/posts/harry-kojimas-avo-japan-m800-motec-twin-turbocharged-os-giken-rb30-1150-ps-846-s/875208102557135/

  3. Hey Frank, Hope you don't regret letting it go? More on Harry here. He's been around turbo Z's a while.
  4. When they get hit in the rear the seam sealer between that box section and the rear valance becomes separated, then add in the rear slam panel in the hatch is a rust trap, it's no wonder they rust in that spot.. That's how it went on my Gold car #150.
  5. My car HS30 00150 has had a light nudge in the butt and it's pushed this section against the spare tyre tub also. I haven't been able to progress things much for this reason. I need @C.A.F. help to pull it straight again.
  6. Must be making fun of the Stagea fellas.
  7. Pretty sure it's an AU Market 71 240z. But who knows? Be good to know the VIN #
  8. I have photos of this car from about 12 years ago when it was in pieces I've added them to the HS30 registry. It was not fitted with the rear wing back then and was 918 orange.
  9. Early ones had the key. My car HS30 00150 has the key flap. It's a North American thing I think.
  10. I agree wholeheartedly that a 280z is still "cheap" and 1 of the most affordable S30z's to buy still. And with back dated bumpers looks almost as good as an early car (sans tail lamps IMHO).
  11. Door restoration technique of having a lap weld isn't my favorite. Also looks like they used an interesting technique of body solder to repair the door frame. The rear 1/4 repair detail was nice to see. But a lot of this repair work looks very familiar to me, given the work I've done so far on #150. I thought the zinc paint he used in between overlapping panels wouldn't allow you to use a spot welder. But it looks like you can with that brushed on black stuff. The zinc primer I've used has a bronze look to it. I guess does a similar thing.

  14. Shame, I think it would be good to keep such heads to practice porting work on.
  15. Thanks for the donation to the site in advance of someone taking up your offer. Mark @mossylooks lovely in that colour in person.

  18. This could be worth a watch. 2M views can't be wrong?
  19. Not an article, but a Youtube Channel I subscribe to, because they do immaculate restoration work on classic JDMs yo! and 400R restoration. Some folks are spending big pocket money to get these cars spot on.
  20. Well I noticed our gauges have an ADR stamp. Not sure about anything else?
  21. This is from HS30 10552 my late 71 build (Dec) 240z. Looks like H <> AST where <> is something blurred / rubbed off? I'm guessing it's H for HS30 and AST for Australia. Car was factory 5speed 71a manual. I was really hoping to see 432-R damn.
  22. Thanks @RAP260for your ongoing support.
  23. Q. Team 24oz how hard you would like you shocks... A. Yes...
