    260Z 2Seater

Think that 1 has sold already.
  3. Lucky you, I would like 1 of these also for my 72 240z (to retain the original E88 code) but very hard to find now.
  4. When I pulled the head off the block in #150 it hadn't run in 20 years and everything was just sort of stuck together. You could try wedging a wooden 2x4 or similar against a cam tower and hit in an upward direction (with a rubber mallet) to help lift it off the head and loosen it up. Just move up and down the length of the head trying different cam towers as you go. Wear some gloves also (since cam towers and cylinder head can be sharp) and try rocking the head back and forth with your hands. Also double-check you've got all fasteners .
  5. C110 or C111? https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k251620321 Current bid: 1,835,000 yen.
  6. Quick bump, Some folks have asked for payment details. I'll send everyone either a.) bank deposit or b.) paypal options once we have filled the quota of inserts. Just an FYI, but this Used knob sold for $344...crazy. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/j430209504
  7. Feature not a bug... you can minimise it, but part of the problem is the S30Z body design tends to cause turbulence around the rear of the car which allows the fumes to seep in via the rear hatch opening. Winding down the windows tends to make it worse.
  8. Early 240z on BAT. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-datsun-240z-9/ Not quite original colour.
  9. Getting closer now.. https://www.facebook.com/datsun.club.3/photos/a.910099975720366.1073741828.910027445727619/1428597490537276/?type=3&hc_location=ufi 62,000 euro for an HLS30 (restored). That's close to $89k AUD and that's a LHD restored example (high quality restoration).
  10. Haha pics or didn't happen!
  11. Worth listening to this guy.
  12. Bumper rubbers look like front bumper is that right?
  13. I have a couple of spares in the garage I will need to dig out, the plan was to have them restored then offer for sure. Since they are getting very hard to find over here now. Especially not cracked around the gearstick hole.
  14. If an AU market 260z owner with the foot rest could post pics, that would be helpful!
  15. Did you sell the choke knob and hand throttle knobs? Did the twin choke / hand throttle piece (with tatty cables) also sell?
  16. D Caps X2 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-240Z-D-Hubcaps-Wheel-Covers-Rare-2-in-Beautiful-Condition-/132162763002?hash=item1ec583b8fa:g:BLkAAOSwJ4hY9W5A&vxp=mtr US $700.00
  17. Have you read this information? http://www.wazregister.com/index.php?title=viewcar&car=HS30-212 Not sure who your old mate was, but maybe you can find details of previous owners to ask them? Failing that you could ask the owner of HS30 00213 what colour it was originally because Nissan painted these cars sequentially the same colour.
  18. Early 240z project in the US for sale. $6k. http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/57506-1971-series-1-240z/
  19. Free 280zx turbo 2 seater in the US. http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/57513-1981-280zx-turbo-going-to-the-crusher/
  20. I saw this on Kats thread. http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/23900-datsun-240z-vs-fairlady-z432/?do=findComment&comment=517782 I had a 260z 2+2 with the foot rest and never noticed these on the floor, not sure why? But it was close to 16 years ago I had it. So that might be part of the reason?
  21. Tool boxes might be available from 240zrubberparts.com other stuff should be the same throughout all 240z's.
  22. S20 motor passes the water glass test.
  23. Almost feels like we need a new topic? ?
  24. I haven't confirmed for myself but I am led to believe the MK63 calipers are lighter.
  25. Save yourself a lot of effort and find a pair of MK63 calipers that bolt right on (4 pots) and may even fit under a Topy spare wheel (may require a small spacer). That's what I plan to do. MK63's cost about $700-$1000 a pair, but... you don't have to fabricate anything to fit them.
