  1. I was looking to ship a bunch of panels, it can be done at a cost but you run the risk of getting the panel here and sandblasting it back to discover it's rusty... That's why I basically went to the effort of fixing mine and fabricating it. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/12698-rear-hatch-rust-repair-a-detailed-guide/page-0
  2. No problem, bit of an update though. I recently had some large expensive bills which has put a dent in my plans to ship large items from the US back to Australia. At least in the short term. I will let everyone know when this is back on again.
  3. Another early car on BAT. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-datsun-240z/ HL30 00187. At $12k USD now.
  4. Good prices on both really, a used pair of MK63's will cost you about that before you rebuild with new seals etc..
  5. Yep sure are..gotta be worth something too. Says unused..
  6. Barn find! HLS30 00105 https://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/6113347701.html 1970 1971 Datsun 240 Z 2 cars rebuildable - $3000 The 907 Green car is 10/69 production date!
  7. I'm pretty sure that was me just being facetious . I didn't actually put it on eBay. I was just joking about doing it. .
  8. I printed these out today to see how they look. Pretty sure I own the world's largest Rally Clock.
  9. Saw this 1 yesterday on Yahoo! Auctions. It has the IC (Not the ADR). So you're likely correct on that. Did the IC (integrated circuits come later)? As I've seen a few without this stamping.
  10. Hi Guys, The last 9 will go to the US. So I'll send out payment details shortly. I was going to do it tonight but exhausted time for bed.
  11. My guess is that it's a reproduction of the Z432 tach or at least looks like a reproduction faceplate. These 2 were also reproductions, that look factory. Refer to this thread here. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/10007-72-240z-zg-tribute-the-everchanging-z-project-christine/page-5?do=findComment&comment=126463 I found this specialist shop in Japan. http://www.ks-sp.co.jp/yonrin_nissan/z_s30.htm
  12. I've never seen 1 like that before, where did you get it?
  13. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Datsun-Z-Series-/162499571981 HLS30 1492 This could be a gem. Current Bid: US $2,995.00
  14. Hi Lance, I've heard of Vintage Air as 1 supplier (although their website doesn't mention Nissan/Datsun's). http://www.vintageair.com/index.asp See also: http://www.viczcar.com/member-rides/warren-gilberts-76-260z-rb25det-conversion
  15. Yeah I've managed to trace the KANTO SEIKI letters and writing at the bottom. That's when I noticed the little ADR on the Australian tach and now I compared with US tach's I am able to see that was unique to our market. Since I don't have any of these rare tach's here to examine I've just been going by photos.
  16. Just an FYI but here is a photo of a Tach face which shows the ADR IC on it. (poor quality photo) but interesting none the less.. https://goo.gl/photos/NM2cSQjyT7L6ME1v8
  17. AU $15.00 End Date: Friday Aug-2-2019 6:12:01 EST Buy It Now for only: AU $15.00 Buy It Now | Add to watch list Parts for sale
  18. I'm glad to see you're enjoying the car, good article. FYI: Your overrider bars on the front bumper are upside down.
  19. Those are not 240z Hitachi SU's, looks like some British SU and possibly smaller size throats than a 240z carb is.
  20. I'd love to know what the chassis no. is. Not sure if I have it recorded in my collection. Looks like a nice example.
  21. If you can't find a good hatch with vents, get any 240z hatch and graft the vents into it or weld them in from a donor. If I was to do it again this is what I'd do (if I couldn't find a vented hatch).
  22. https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/essendon/cars-vans-utes/1973-datsun-240z-coupe/1146613777 $39,000.00 Negotiable Essendon, VIC
  23. I assume that involves bending it a specific way? To pull the bonnet lower? I guess it needs to "twist" correct?
  24. So I did what I set out to avoid doing, that is trace each single number manually... I hate doing it this way as it's far more work and rarely do the characters (alphanumberic ones look correct when traced out). But here is a sample of the tach with the "correct' type face. Bookmark for my own reference. https://mazda626.net/topic/39309-making-custom-gauge-faces/
  25. @Gareth - is this the company that helped you recalibrate your tach? https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hit-300-Automotive-Instruments/196678970356842 It looks like they have rebranded to. http://www.overline.com.au/ Hit 300 Automotive Instruments
