  1. Cheap! Get in before you miss out. Edit actually looks like the ones that were bought on eBay a month or so ago in South Australia. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DATSUN-260Z-/152471658618 Refer to post here: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/1924-cars-for-sale-3rd-party-sites-ebay-carsales-etc/?p=189398 Final bid was $9k.... So already being flipped.
  2. Thanks, 1 item has arrived so far so at least I know 1 person got what they ordered.
  3. Anybody received these yet?
  4. Guess who's back? https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/_/SSE-AD-4744833?WT.seg_4=AutoAlert;PCAA
  5. A little more refinement, still not 100% happy with it, but it's very close to the original.
  6. Nice looking car.
  7. Sadly I tend to find the same..
  8. When I saw this thread I was trying to find they Jenvey Heritage carbs, I kept looking for Fuel Injected Weber DCOEs and couldn't see them. I do like the idea of having the classic aesthetics but drivability of fuel injection. http://www.jenvey.co.uk/products2/heritage/heritage-dcoe-twin-body-45mm-single-tds45
  9. 1964 Fairlady Z (been in storage since 1977!) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/292117637233 Currently at $7,500 with 6 days to go.
  10. Also interested in heat shield, put me next in line.
  11. I think they got moved around on the 260z's. My 240z for comparison. https://goo.gl/photos/p99iMrdUJvrM1w5n7
  12. I am almost certain the first blue bus was in the Blue Mountains a couple of years ago and appeared on here in the same thread. It looks like the most 'original' - apart from the ZX wheels of course! I recall someone seeing it (if it's the same car) and saying there was a bit more rust than expected. Therefore it should be inspected in person rather than relying on photos. The second gold coloured 1 looks nice enough but paint maybe a bit flat for what should be a metallic looking gold? Interested to know when it was last painted and by who and if there is receipts or documents on the work done (that applies to either car mind you). As for the ZX I think you should drive an earlier car and then compared with the ZX to see what you like. The ZX does feel heavier and soft compared with the earlier cars.
  13. I know the banter between you 2 is not new, but can we keep it constructive? It seems like this thread is being split onto parts eligibility for SC racing and MK63 calipers in general. Perhaps a new topic on SC racing and parts eligibility in the racing your zed section of the forum would be a better way to go and we can discuss more than just brakes, thoughts?
  14. Glad to see this car looking good again!
  15. Solex 40mm carbs (pair). https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/townsville/engine-engine-parts-transmission/twin-40mm-solex-carbs-/1147343099 Cheap at $300 for the pair.
  16. Type Q Mikuni 44's (Pair Only) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/142382462765 Buy it now: AU $1,100.00
  17. Yes thinking about it more, I actually think it had something to do with the server migration that was going on. Basically the site was moved to another host server and I had to make a DNS change to point the domain www.viczcar.com to the new location. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/16111-website-outages-image-attachment-issues/?p=191897 It's possible that some posts made between then and now have gone missing as a result I'm afraid. I didn't realise the server upgrade was going to require a DNS change. Sorry if your posts went missing! I usually try not to delete any posts in topics like these unless they go way off topic or are just tit for tat arguments that are non constructive.
  18. Nah not yet, interior pieces like that will come last... and not that fanatical about having an early 1 anyway. Seems a pain in the butt if you blow a globe.
  19. Nope I haven't removed anything. However we did move hosts so it's possible there was some posts lost during the transition of hosting platforms.

    L28

Camshaft profile is also different, usually aimed at torque over high end rpm. This can make an L28 feel a bit agricultural in a sports car. Unless of course you change the camshaft profile to suit. Have a read of this. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/1738-l26-refresh-thought-id-share-the-results/
  21. Epic man cave bro! I'm so jealous... Sorry to hear about the Silvia blowing a gasket, damn unreliable piston motors. Should have got a rotor! Life seems full of set backs, shame they make it so hard to build something in your own yard.
  22. Washer bottle for cheap (NOS) http://www.ebay.com/itm/162510607859 Only $900 USD at the moment. Blowing up on Facebook lol..
  23. Since the topic of MK63's has come up recently, I figured I'd share some links to Toyota 4 pot calipers (S12 and S12W's) etc.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-S12W-Brake-Calipers-88-95-Pickup-1988-1991-4Runner-4x4-SR5-/201882751658?hash=item2f012652aa:g:TkEAAOSwhQhY5qja&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-HILUX-SURF-LN130-FRONT-CALIPER-SET-S12W-1836-/381877735021?hash=item58e9afce6d:g:N0kAAOSw44BYWPad&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-HILUX-KZN165-2003-FRONT-BRAKE-CALIPER-SET-S12W-Y1-/222045814867?hash=item33b2f64053:g:4WoAAOSwWTRWy5oQ&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/1979-80-81-82-83-84-85-Toyota-4x4-Pickup-4Runner-Brake-Calipers-Left-Right-4WD-/401319794338?hash=item5d708616a2:g:iJ4AAOSw~y9ZCYJ7&vxp=mtr Dirt cheap.. but obviously will need rebuilding and cleaning up!
  24. I'm sure Alan will clarify, but not as standard. It's possible on the PS30-SB (432-R's) that they were ordered with the car, but Alan would need to clarify and I believe may not know or have any paperwork proving it was ordered at time of purchase (rather it was ordered as part of sports option catalog after).
  25. These all went out today. Please let me know if there is any issue with your delivery or quantity. I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake during packaging etc..
