  1. Datsun 240K Coupe https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/renmark-west/cars-vans-utes/1973-datsun-240k-coupe/1149310497 Asking: $14k
  2. Actually may have talked myself into it, if Peter doesn't want them let me know. I can come collect them in Sydney at some point.
  3. These are good to paint black if you want to get a look close to the old Kobe Seiko rally wheels.
  4. Not much outside of what's mentioned in those links.
  5. Yes but pressings are different in a 260z. So depends if you want it original or not? There is a place in Canada doing 260z style pressings. Otherwise if your floors are not too rotten just patch them up as opposed to replace the whole floor. I was going to replace mine in #150 but likely will just patch them now instead.
  6. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/6150634417.html 1971 Datsun 240Z all original - $7900 (fremont / union city / newark)
  7. And the Torana SS Hatch! On another page there was a Mazda RX-3 I believe for $3,500 or so... it's amazing how prices have changed.
  8. This is a pretty serious L-GATA powered S30Z. https://www.instagram.com/rising_performance/ No Youtube video I'm afraid. https://www.facebook.com/nagao.yuji.7/posts/1225059540953614 10 second 1/4 mile. Website: http://www.rising-web.jp/

  10. So I finally managed to find the original trading post advertisement for my car, posted way back in June/July 2002. There is a few more pages with it and they have some interesting insights into prices of cars at the time. My 240z was actually on the higher end of prices for the time if I recall correctly.
  11. I believe that metal tube from the exhaust is for EGR, but our early 240Z's didn't have to have that set up (maybe later 260z's did). Our early S30Z's didn't have an air pump or all that emissions stuff until the later 260z's. I don't think that's your issue however..
  12. I guess this is where I'm supposed to step in, look I just think it's a bit of light hearted fun. Usually any thread with you 2 discussing racing turns into some kind of shit slinging match. Given the way this thread has started it certainly grew legs and started it's own path. Perhaps if you want to chat about racing technique it could be posted in the "Racing your zed" section instead of the "off topic" section like this is... You can't say it didn't say it on the tin.
  13. That's what welding is for mate. Patching up small holes
  14. RX-7 might prove to be a good investment in the coming years however...
  15. HS30 00917 (originally 907 Green like it's sister car #918). Love the Topy's on it.
  16. I thought this was a good price, not for you? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DATSUN-260Z-2-2-/201925305953 It looked a bit tired but honest.
  17. I'd say unfinished project doesn't help. Funny thing is wouldn't take much to make it look more complete.
  18. Cams approval for optional parts to compete with the Porka's
  19. Anyone feel like cutting up a rare air box for their S30Z? https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f142333920 Prince Skyline GT-B airbox to suit triple webers. Asking 200,000 yen +
  20. Given how rare they are to find for sale these days, I'm not sure it's really that far from reality. Although this 1 in Japan sold for around $26k AUD recently (not sure if reserve was met?) https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b256041154 This project car was asking about $12k AUD. (price has gone silly after auction ended, not sure why?) http://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/j433722240 There is another in Adelaide here. https://www.shannons.com.au/club/enthusiasts/GettingOlder/garage/1967-prince-skyline-s54be-3-gtb/ https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/469621-prince-gtb-value/ and I know of at least 1 other in a Barn in NSW...not sure what the owner would sell it for though! If I didn't already have too many projects I'd get 1 myself. They haven't reached the crazy price point of the KPGC10 or KGC10's and the mania around those. They seem to have been overlooked...
  21. Oh wow, yes very rare indeed... I've always wanted 1. S54B - Prince Skyline GT-B with the Triple Webers and 100L fuel tank, LSD etc.. Not many left in the country. But they did sell them new here (around 400 or so I believe). Some photos here. https://goo.gl/photos/HRbnvRy8VwYRCE5Q9

  23. http://oppositelock.kinja.com/there-is-no-911-bubble-get-over-it-1681424894 Sorry thought it was worth a share, found it quite funny.
