I keep getting Russian girls.. keep having to explain to my missus that I haven't been looking for a Russian woman. haha. Honest!
  3. Ok great, I'll start adding names to first post.
  4. Only kit I know of (off the top of my head) is this. http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au/Datsun%201969-78%20240Z-260Z.htm But feedback is mixed with regard to this supplier.
  5. Part out! http://buyee.jp/item/search/seller/nkbr2295?page=1
  6. LOL at the VW with the old rotary aviation motor on the back. Old bloke seemed totally unphased by the engine start haha.
  7. Hey Folks, If you missed out on the freebies here, don't worry I have some more. Member Enzo has donated a bunch to help raise funds for hosting the site. Here is how it will work. Price: Each button / insert is priced at: $10. If I use the right envelope postage within Australia at most should be: $5 (not tracked, not insured). You can order more than 1 at at time to save on postage, there is around 49 left. I do not want to run to the post office to mail these out individually (it's time consuming to package, post and write down address details etc..), instead I'll collect everyone's payment and will post them all in 1 go. So I'll need your postage details also. PM is probably best. Details I will need from you to post these. 1. Name (Full Name) 2. Address to send items to. 3. Contact Phone (optional but may be helpful). 4. Quantity of inserts desired. Keep in mind that as Enzo pointed out these may not last 30-40 years, but in a car driven as often as an S30Z we hope you'll get at least a few out of them. The quality is in my opinion better than those I got from ZCarDepot in the US. Who knows how long either will hold up though? You can find gearknobs on eBay US (4 speed ones) and remove the old button and glue these down. I want to give local members first dibs at these, before I offer to send them outside Australia. Buyer List 1. qhongtran (qty: 1) - Paid 2. PeterH (qty: 3) - Paid 3. G (qty: 2) 4. GongZ (qty: 2) 5. Hitcho (qty: 1) - Paid 6. Rickers (qty: 2) - Paid 7. Gareth (qty: 1) - Paid 8. Sent, think I managed to send it for $2 this time..
  9. Another site I've found a few times and referenced. http://rmcarburetors.net/
  10. Why you shouldn't cheap out on good tyres for your car!
  11. 1971 Datsun 240z is back on CarSales (previously listed here). HS30 01168 https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/_/SSE-AD-4511188?WT.seg_4=AutoAlert;PCAA Asking $43k.
  12. That's the problem with eBay isn't it? Hence why I don't like to use them as much these days for items like this.
  13. Wrong thread, helps if you also post a link. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/14558-the-ebay-thread-2-post-ebay-parts-here/page-75
  14. I've been trying to find evidence that the AU market ever received a HS30 with a Blue on Blue interior/exterior combination. So far to no avail. I was surprised to find a 907 Green delivered car with the butterscotch interior, but so far only seen white/blue combo cars sold here (very rare also!). I'd love to have an original blue on blue car (especially an early 240z with vented hatch etc.. 1969/70 model) and as far as I'm aware they were only HLS30's. I don't think I've ever seen it in the Japanese market or European market cars either. I am pretty sure they went with it for North American markets because of other cars at the time that had it such as the Corvette. http://suncentralzclub.com/files/Memberz/JimFrederick/1970_Blue/Blue_on_Blue.html It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I really love it. I'd say if you can find a unique LHD 240z like this or a low number car, it won't matter to a person seeking such a car. As for the more common later S30Z's like 260/280's etc.. I would guess it would suppress their values for a while. Having said that all S30Z's are rising in value and in North America recently also!

Thanks mate, I'll get this out soon. Now that I know package width restrictions I'll flat pack it so it shouldn't cost as much. I wasn't going to ask for postage costs originally, just wanted to pay it forward but I'm unfortunately counting every penny this month. PayPal button on front page should do, but wait until you receive it and it should have postage cost on the envelope. No problems George.
  16. Very much needed especially in today's political climate.
  17. Yeah that is a good resource, although I find it easier to understand now that I'm a lot more familiar with all the different variants and have seen photos of each kind. Trying to rely on the illustrations on that page alone is quite difficult.
  18. Hi Folks, Just an update. I have 1 x 240z Jeco clock for sale (Quartz conversion). $419 (-$50 core refund) = $369 + postage ($12 Australia wide). I have 1 x Calendar Clock for sale (suit 260z dashboard). $650 See thread.
  19. Bumping this up again? Anyone interested in a Calendar Clock?

Sent a bunch out today. 1x shaun240 2x Mossy 2x Dionysus 2x Triptych 2x cracker 2x Ponyo240z Unfortunately the way I packed it meant it wouldn't fit through a standard post slot (padded bag and padded inserts in bag) so they cost a bit more than expected (~$7 postage). For 2x chris240 - I don't have a postage address from you yet. 2x George - I think you were going to collect at some point?
  21. If I couldn't find a good S30z locally in RHD I'd have no hesitation buying a LHD example to drive over here. I'm not sure why others find it such a deterrent? In a weekend car in my opinion it's hardly a big deal. I wouldn't even bother doing conversion or if I was going to I'd do it over a long period of time. Collect all the parts I need and when ready and saved the coin convert. Only problem is finding a good example in the US at a reasonable price. Then shipping etc.. basically means you're better off starting with RHD if you can find 1. But if I wanted an early early 240z I'd look in the US since options here are limited by these greedy collectors with more than 1 .
  22. Is that a non-fluted bonnet? If so are you selling separately?
  23. You've got the short runner Mikuni manifold. North American's seem to go goo goo over those. Not sure if it's because of brake reservoir clearance or another reason? Either way quite hard to find. (I've got 1).
  24. I thought it might have been a P90 head since my P90 had the same valve cover. Which is the larger big block NISSAN cover. There is a smaller version also which is more common. Worth a bit to the right buyer.
  25. Looks great, where did you get the vinyl material from? Rob at Z-Factory? Oh and those support straps under the seats look like seat belt material?
