  3. Thank you mate. a few hours into it already! So glad it got to me before it was too late. Done a few rear end repairs - again completely rusted away, lots of stuff did need to be remade. Before shots: As you can see, tail inner beaver panel and surrounding areas are completely gone. Drivers side too was bad, so it was replaced. Next was the drivers side drip rail area, like the passenger side it too was rusty. So it needed repairs. Next up, firewall repair patch... New years eve shot. The front clip needs alot of work, the car will be going on a car-o-liner soon to make sure everything is square before being spot welded into place. Trying to retain as many OEM things as possible, which means a spot welder is used as much as possible to replicate the factory look. and a few NOS goodies i've acquired so far. I love New old stock stuff, so if you have anything please let me know.

  8. I think the special variants like 432 and 432-R followed by 240ZG are commanding the most money, followed by early S30Z's with the original unique features/parts. Then resto mods if done right can fetch good coin. Each car is unique so hard to establish a true price range. Hagerty tries with their Tier 1 through 3 cars, but it's still massively subjective and their price ranges are behind where the market really is IMHO. It seems their prices are about 5 years behind. https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuationtools/1970-Datsun-240Z

  9. So a man cave is what you can make of it. Personally it is a retreat from every day living for me. Some where you can go where the better half will not tread foot and adult children come to the conclusion that they will never find that they are looking for with out help. There for they do not enter. My man cave come shed looks like a bomb hit and I like it that way. The railway is n scale and as you can see a work in progress. I been told the model ships have to fine a home in the man cave and moved out of the craft room. That may take some creative thinking to find a space for them . The hull of the ship in what will become a dry dock on the railway is a 1 : 200 scale model of HMS RODNEY

Cheers all for the input, Have been stripping the Zedder down here and there when I get a spare moment or two. Its about half stripped. The LH quarter has a fair bit of filler and repair that was drilled to pull the panel out. There's some holes in the hatch panel, and sill areas which can be replaced. Other than that its fairly clean....so far. Sunroof's out, RH gaurd's off, looking foward to getting it totally stripped right down this weekend and getting a total assessment on the body.
