peter mc Posted February 13, 2011 Author Posted February 13, 2011 ok the engine ... has ls1 coils and the sump is from Arizona and the efi has tappered bores 48-45-42 the coils are fired by haltec the distributor is a Rb30 unit made by myself ,the rods are fj20 length pistons are custom to suit p90 head ,head is one of the best ones i have tested 230cfm inlet 155ex springs from japan kameri adj timing gear, cam from wade is a one of will be the first to try can not wait . crank has been lightend and de-stressed and heat treated .it runs a light flywheel and clutch also from Arizona. it will make about 180kw atw... PZG302 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Peter, how do you go with the injectors so far from the ports? My understanding is that with the revs the L series does you want the injectors as close to the ports as possible. I know that the 2 litre supertourers had the injectors at the air inlet but they were pulling over 9000 rpm and had bugger all torque in comparison to the power they made. Quote
