RB30X Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Thats terrible news Peter. :'( On another note, I was throwing out some pistons today and an RB30 piston landed next to an L28 piston and I'll be darned if they arent exactly the same diameter. The RB's have the four valves cut into the top even when the 30's are a single cam. Obviously you are aware of this. Could be of use with the L series hybrid that I hope youre still building. Quote
mossy Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Thats no good mate, surely a man with your skills should be able to get a job pretty easy, might be harder where you live but in Melbourne maybe? Quote
peter mc Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 yer i will have to move to find a good shop but i will Finnish all the jobs i have first, but i have to make some money to get by first Quote
garvice Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 I always seem to have bad timing with deals like this. Good luck with the sale and perhaps put it on Performance forums, Lurch will be able to help you with that. Or perhaps this will tempt PZG302 to keep racing a Z. Quote
Roberto Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 To anyone who has always wanted there engine rebuilt or modified, the time is NOW ! Peter will get snapped up very quickly..... Quote

Would love to but the rules keep a Z uncompetitive against the modern competition, Pete's awesome weapon is just too good for prod sports. I hope the new owner gets Peter to finish it to how it should be finished and show how quick a zed can go without rules to limit the performance. Quote
FLEXZED Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 A sad day Pete, if we can help somehow you know we are all just a phone call away. +1 Quote
