I finally did the amp/fuel gauge to volt/fuel gauge swap in the dash, was straight foward. Thanks Dimitri  :)

Also fitted some TP Mangna vented rotors and fully rebuilt Hilux S12+8 calipers to the front end, this required 260z hubs to give correct offset and no spacers were used. I had to replace all seals in the calipers so I separated/stripped them down and machined out the rotor groove from 22mm to 27mm. Bolted back together and fitted new pads. YAY, no more brake fade......... I hope!

I color matched all calipers and rotor hubs to car color, which look pretty sweet I think  8)

Last was the easiest, just put a badge on the rear spoiler and color matched some of Lurch's top notch metal work. Just wanted it to look ok until final repairs/paint are done.

I'm running an RX-7 club sport pad from Project Mu. Was a few weeks old but went straight in, only thing I did previously was redrill pin holes in the pad backing plate to get pad material in the correct spot. If you compare the pad to a regular hilux 12+8 the pad and backing plate material is actually set deeper on the RX-7 pad. Other than that they will fit.

Nice little vid, think that we should all do similar  ;)

Might be something wrong with youtube, it didn't show any in car footage or burnouts?

I'm trying to decide which spoiler to go with and I can't make up my mind. The current large fibreglass one is nice but I have a rare JDM spoiler which is a little unique, each week I seem to change my mind and would like some opinions. It's the same style as on 'boomers' 240z in the introdution section.

Do you guys think it'll make any change to the hadling/downforce on track?

Did a few changes last week, New front end look. It's a rare JDM spoiler and the bumper has been removed, looks more menacing and classic at the same time. With the help of my bro we color matched front and rear spoilers and the rear light surround using BMW087 metallic gunmeatal.

I may refit the bumper, but it's not quite true and pushes the left gaurd/headlight bucket inward. It's always been a little wonky from accident by previous owner.

Had some goodies arrive in the mail, big and small. The big, my Ignition Dragon Headers, equal length primaries and all in STAINLESS  8) Oh Yeah! Pretty please Peter can you match port these to the head (they are 35x41.5mm roughly atm)  :-*

The small was a water restrictor from the late, great Don Potter... It's welded into the t/stat housing outlet and used with 190t/stat and deisel water pump it provides maximum cooling and optimum temp for the engine. These were used in the Bob Sharp racers in this configuration  :)

I'm hoping to get a similar look to the front end of this JDM racer, maybe even modifying the radiator grill to this sort of look, which will aid cooling efficiency.

Here's the water restrictor too.
