Nice  :)

Turn in looks quite good in that clip.  Managing to keep it fairly tight on the exit of the right hander at the bottom of Lukey Heights which you wouldn't be able to if it was pushing too much.

That Merc is really struggling with the twisty bits!

So at the Vic BBQ, G-man barrels up to me, grabs me by the shirt, drags me over to his Zed & thrusts my nose at the slightly corroded bits on the Ricey.

"Fix this!"

"I can't - I'm too busy"

"I'll beat you up!" (G-man is a big bugger)

"OK OK - Have to be after Christmas though"

"NO! Next weekend I'll drop it off"

"I can't G-Man, I..."

G-Man gets a wheel brace out...

"Umm... well next weekend sounds good!"

So... G-man dropped it off on Saturday & I got to work:

Cracked LHS guard corner:

Ugliness in doors:

Would you like your doors in one piece or two, G-man?

Extra well ventilated:

I like tha added ventilation, always felt a little warm on the inside  ;D

Driver comfort and a lighter car, got to be worth 1/2 a second off your lap times Gareth.

Can't believe you're patching up the weight reduction holes, there goes the lap times  ;D

If you cover up all the "speed holes", you'll end up doing my sort of lap times Gareth...

I figure the new sleek lines should have less drag  ;D  and if the driver doesn't have too much Christmas turkey then there could be some weight saving too!!

I spotted a rusty patch in the door jam when I first removed the passenger door.

I'm glad I investigated further...

A few small holes but nothing too major.

Whoa! Peter, you da man  :o

I'm going for a 74 works rally grind from wade, was thinking 76 but rather be a little cautious at first with the 74. Can always upgrade if I like later.

I have an awesome girdle from Simon that I'll keep for another motor as the machining is all done on the new motor, but for this one I have this arriving in a few days from Ishihara-Johnson  ;D

Wonder if the family would object to xmas in the shed..... hehe.

Pete gives good head ;)

I've finished the PS repairs on the 240, but the DS will have to wait till after the new year.

I've also included a pic of a little mod I've done on G-mans request:

Just needs painting now.

Certinly cleans up the lines on the back of the Zed...

And a couple of crappy 'arty-ish' shots:
