Turn in looks quite good in that clip.  Managing to keep it fairly tight on the exit of the right hander at the bottom of Lukey Heights which you wouldn't be able to if it was pushing too much.

 

That Merc is really struggling with the twisty bits!

So at the Vic BBQ, G-man barrels up to me, grabs me by the shirt, drags me over to his Zed & thrusts my nose at the slightly corroded bits on the Ricey.

Its going to look very schmick for the next season of racing! Just be prepared for some extra stone chips.

Cage was done by brown Davis,they did a very neat job I thought. Powdercoating to color of my choice was included in the price.

I figure the new sleek lines should have less drag    and if the driver doesn't have too much Christmas turkey then there could be some weight saving too!!

I spotted a rusty patch in the door jam when I first removed the passenger door.

I'm glad I investigated further...

 

 

A few small holes but nothing too major.

I'm going for a 74 works rally grind from wade, was thinking 76 but rather be a little cautious at first with the 74. Can always upgrade if I like later.

 

I have an awesome girdle from Simon that I'll keep for another motor as the machining is all done on the new motor, but for this one I have this arriving in a few days from Ishihara-Johnson 

 

Wonder if the family would object to xmas in the shed..... hehe.

I've finished the PS repairs on the 240, but the DS will have to wait till after the new year.
