The window actually catches where the door lock is and it catches on the bolts that hold the window Guide plate to the window. We might have to do another Grampians drive or something once you are finished. I am really looking forward to the next drive and or meeting ... it's been too long. Quote

Scoota G Posted June 9, 2010 Author Posted June 9, 2010 Well, after 3 Weeks waiting for my passenger side door skin to come in it arrived this morning complete with a dent and some surface rust. Needless to say i was very unimpressed and back at the store they tried to talk up the condition and suggest it was damaged in transit (not possible). They even offered it to me at a discounted price. I told them "i wouldn't pay $100 for it" so they are getting another one sent down which will take another week, Bummer. Quote
Scoota G Posted June 26, 2010 Author Posted June 26, 2010 A while ago i fitted a new Radiator and recently my Zed developed a leak from the heater core which got worse after we took the car for a spin down The Great Ocean Road, when i got the car home the Driver's Side footwell was pretty soaked. Turns out it just needed the hose clamps renewed and tightened. All the parts got a pressure wash and then went back in. Quote

Reason I ask is I'm doing head work soon and was reaserching parts with SWM, said he's been having problems with crow springs, apparently they've changed suppliers recently (poorer quality) as a result he won't garantee them. He's even had them breaking in road zeds with mild cams.... Quote

I'm wondering if you mean have Crow changed suppliers cause they make them there and also why would SWM advertise their product "Crow Springs" under the price of what Crow Cams sell them from the factory??? (What does crow springs mean as in crow genuine??) Mine are Genuine Crow Cam Springs, please bear in mind that i'm only using the info i have at hand. Quote
