Looking fantastic!

Now, which of the 3 cars I have around here in need of paint should I do first.... The one in primer?  The one thats full of 'ventilation' holes?  Or the one that the paint is falling off....  Dammit Steve, look what you've gone and done!

Thanks Lynton

Well I am due to pick the car up this afternoon which is exciting.

They have polished the door trims back to stainless steel (were painted black) but were unable to remove the smaller side windows due to the rubber being completely gone and fear of causing leaks. This means that the trim around them will still be black until I can get some rubber replacements.

Anyone got a line on good quality rubbers for those rear quarter windows? I'll have to do it myself some time in the future so the photos I post up later will not be the final product.

And Shaun I know you are going to say something about my window wiper arms, I WILL fix them up... eventually ;)

Haha I wasn't actually, but now you mention it... just do it. $50 and 2 nuts and it's done with brand new ones. Or $10 spray can and 2nuts and you've got a cheap temp fix ;)

What will the labour cost be for his mechanic to do it though Shaun?

You can't expect a mechanical engineer like steve to get his hands dirty.

He has said before he doesn't have tools.

Wow, you have done well mate. Or should I say, wow you have handed your money over well mate.

It did look like a bit of an eye saw before mate.

HOT.

Just drop it an inch or two.

I'm probably the only one, but I reckon it looks spot on at the height it is - especially for a daily driver.  Looking great steve, you've put some serious effort into her since you started, and shes a real head turner!

So Steve,

I know you are going to address the rear qtr windows and take them back to SS which I think will really top the look off but what will you do with the side front mudguard indicators that are still painted black? By the way don't lower it the car looks perfectly balanced(Picaso)!! Lynton 8)

I saw this as well but I actually like them black. I normally like everything chrome to be nice shiny chrome but I think it's because of the black vents and the black rubbers on the bumpers, it matches. But it would look good either way :)
