Hi

I've decided to do an engine swap and will no longer require my current engine setup. Selling a complete lot, not separating anything. In addition to the attached list, the engine has a high speed starter motor (new) and a reconditioned alternator. In the sale I will also include full exhaust system as documented in my build.

Picture of the engine built attached. Engine serviced 3 weeks ago and under 1000 miles in total over the last 4 years or so.. (essentially just rune in). No oil leaks, no seeps, nothing to do.. Engine will be in the car available for inspection until sold.

$9,500.

Thank you.

Andrew

Excellent!

I very seriously considered the same combination, did a lot of homework but kept coming back to my current choice.

Looking forward to developments.

You've got the short runner Mikuni manifold.  North American's seem to go goo goo over those. Not sure if it's because of brake reservoir clearance or another reason? Either way quite hard to find. (I've got 1). :D

Hi Andrew, my 240z has a RB30/25 N/A, great engine super reliable, heaps of power/torque and 8.5 L/100 mixed driving. I live on the Central Coast and will be more than happy to give you a close up inspection and go for a spin. I'll be at the NDN on Saturday for the meet and cruise and could catch up through the day if that suits if not Pm me for my phone number.

Thanks a Lot for this. would love to, but so tied up over Easter, hard to manage weekends right now. I would be going with ITB's, but still on a fence about the RB swap after several discussions. It seems I'm not fully ready to let go of the L series. Either way, My engine does need to go.

Bump...Any punters out there without silly offers?. Engine just loosened up, reconditioned Japanese carbs, new clutch, light flywheel, all new, the whole lot, ready to be transplanted without build headaches and dissipointments. You can see/hear/feel what you are buying...

Almost 200Hp on a dyno at SWM in Sydney, this was just after the engine was installed and was not fully run in. I'd expect this number to be at least 200Hp now. Stewart from SWM says the car needs a different cam to get a bit more power, but I dont want to muck about for small gains.

Over to you gents.

I was very keen on a RB30 bottom end and RB26 head with ITB as well but from apparently you need to run a big lump in the piston for the RB head which isnt designed for NA, I cant quite remember what I was told but I think that meant it doesnt rev very well.
