I doubt he's selling it all for $20. You would need to contact him re specific parts and prices.

Agree, the $20 is just to get the phone ringing. It was more of a general question re the possible value wheels.

I saw a couple of people bidding on a 240z wheel a while back on eBay AU and the price was up around the $250 mark if I recall correctly (not restored).

Obviously an uber rare (early wheel without the spoke cut out's) is worth eleventy million bucks more though.. :P but in fairness they are still quite easy to get if you look at eBay US (for the early wheels).

But the price of them tends to be around $200-$400 mark in various states of condition (most are not restored that well). That's before shipping - which is sadly extortionate in most cases.

The good news though is that they clean up relatively easily and don't take much to restore if you have patience. The horn button / pad is usually the part that has had the most wear and tear - there is a plastic retaining ring on the inside that often cracks, but this can be patched up with epoxy etc.. But new they go for around $170 on their own.

I'm just glad my wheel was in relatively good condition and cleaned up good. I'm sure you've seen the tutorial on restoring them.

I much prefer the earlier 240z wheel w/wood rim to the later 260z ones myself.

Bid as much as you want to spend to get it. If you get it cheaper win win ;).

It is not something that I want, I have other plans.

Just curious as to peoples opinion given the recent threads about these wheels.

Also is the centre cap correct ?

I would guess up to $200 unrestored. No horn button is custom.

More than 60k yen  I'd say.

I've had good experience with classic car nagoya in terms of importing stuff if you want. Bit cheaper than Streeter is.

I'd say around $1500. Depends on condition. I think those are Celica carbs on a Z manifold.

Agreed $1,500 minimum I'd say.
