Does that US kit mount on the S30 blower box? The unit looks smaller than the vintage air unit

Im heading down the Vintage Air Gen II way. Seems a easier setup and fits snug. I have had my eye on this page https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/61181-vintage-air-gen-ii-mini-install/ The only issue I see as a challenge for me is trying to retrofit the switches onto the 240z switches/levers

I purchased the repo fender mirrors from https://jdm-car-parts.com/ and Im quite happy with them. Haven't seen the originals in person but look the part in comparing pictures. Main thing for me is they look the part, do the job and are solid cast Happy to drop some more pictures if you like Youhan

Hey guys Just got the tank back from powered coating. Going to have the tank straps made up when the car is getting the lines done back at the shop. So the set up is a Raceworks twin fuel cell, two 460 pumps with new sender to suit. Have a few cars ahead so expected to get started in 5 weeks or so. Its amazing how everyone is backed up with work lined up The whole set up was done by Chris from Castle Hill Exhaust. Very reliable and honest guy would highly recommend. He mentioned he will be joining the forum to put more details up if anyone wants a new tank made up. Happy restorations

I bought a bonnet and two door skins from them and they were high quality no issues.

After some inspiration from @ND240Z I sent the dash frame to get bladted and powder coated. Going to fix the dash pad on the frame and send it to the Dash Dr in Melbourne. Apparently 8 week wait

Volvo built to last forever, but they are a ugly little thing. My Dad had a green 1980 240, I can still remember the smell of that car lol True story, my mum made him sell their XY Falcon to get the Volvo lol.

Hey Guys Been a slow journey trying to get things sorted on the 240z, mostly waiting for a spot to open up at Croydon Racing to take the car in. I finally decided to get a custom fuel tank made up to replicate the stock, damaged rusted tank. I had issues cleaning and fixing the old tank and I didn't see the point of buying the reproduction tanks selling online. I took the old tank to Chris at Castle Hill Exhaust in Sydney and he designed and fabricated a new aluminium tank. New internal punp, new sender, new lines will definitely make things easy moving forward. Some pictures of the new tank. Still needs to put in baffles and weld it up once pump and sender have been test fitted. When we fit the tank I will take fitment pictures and put them up

If history repeats itself and the Z receives the "Legendary Status" in another 20 to 30 years we all should start planning our acquisition strategy (if you already haven't). Just as long as the prices dont go crazy like the VF GTS/W1 or the SS Red Line after a year of sales, or will they...........
