  1. Another
  2. Maybe the "Z Car Club of Sydney"? I am sure they would get a few extra members out of it from the Canberra folk. But its all just theory unless Chris runs with it! Jeff
  3. Yes that's who I picked but it does not need to be them. My reading of it and looking at the other listed clubs it could be any club who has an interest, within reason. I must say I have know knowledge of the NDSOC I just did a quick Dr G. I was actually looking to see if the Nissan Datsun Drivers Club still existed in NSW and it does. I just picked NDSOC as an example as they seemed boarder based not just Rally/CAMS. I am betting that what you say is very true for a lot of special interest clubs.
  4. Does not look like it's too hard to become affiliated. All you need is a club. https://actmotorclubs.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/cactmc-annual-club-return_201505v2.pdf This is the form does not cost much either. Jeff
  5. Chris I here you. If you want to purse it I would suggest you join either the BMSC or try the Datsun Sports Owners Club of Australia. Both are members of the council of ACT motor clubs. Another option could be to approach the Nissan Datsun Sports Owners Club to see if they are interested in affiliation with the ACT council. The club does not need to be in the ACT! As an example the Datsun sports owners club, Ferrari owners club of Australia etc. Jeff
  6. Impressive Jeff. A few hours work have gone into that. What did you use to prep the metal? Looks like you used a caustic wash or something? Jeff.
  7. PM sent re the guards.
  8. Have you looked at the ACT rego site? http://www.rego.act.gov.au/registration/registering-vehicle-other-than-a-standard-car-or-light-truck/veteran,-vintage-and-historic-registration It has all of the information. I don't think it's that hard but is a bit restrictive for use of the car. Jeff
  9. I see the Zcardepot has started a YouTube Chanel.
  10. Some nice cars in this video.
  11. I think the pictures sum it up.
  12. As PB said and adding to that. Spend your money once and spend it wisely. Get a good quality one that will last. The brand you are looking at is not likely to stand the test of time and will probably fail at the most inconvenient time. Just my opinion. Jeff
  13. Very very nice car. Just love the direction you have taken with this car. It's very subtle and traditional without being over the top. Nice. Jeff
  14. Classic. Just like burocrats the world over. I wish you well with this.
  15. Plus one for me.
  16. Nice result. I am looking forward to see it live!! Photos are good but never accurately reflect the project. I have a feeling this will be better in the flesh than it is in the photos. Jeff
  17. I am lusting over this. Nice very very nice and typical high standard of work from Les. Jeff.
  18. Yes they were under A$1000 shipped. I have purchased quite a few components from them frt costs are a bit hit and miss but if it's what you need you don't have much of choice. Jeff
  19. They set the orange off nicely
  20. I plan to run them on my car. I like the Enkei product. I ran them way back when, on my 1600 rally car and we currently run the Enkei product on a couple of modern rally cars. They have proven to be durable and cost effective. I have spent some time chasing a supply of the "compe" in Australia and OS. The current importer for Enkei does not import the compe. When I spoke to him he said he would import some for me but since then I have not had any response from my emails and the phone just seems to ring out. I contacted friends in Japan and also hunted around the www. My conclusion and advise is if you want them just get them from MSA. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/classic05a01/25-1144 At the price for a set of 4 they are good value. A friend just imported a set and all up it was under $1000. They do look nice. Jeff
  21. This post comes with a warning. I think it's art but viewing these photos may result in feelings of lust. Lurch has made a nice job of this.
  22. Yes I had better get my priorities corrected hadn't I. :-)
  23. Missed this photo. MCA bits look good Dave. Been playing with my ones this weekend. They are nice bits of kit. Jeff.
  24. How is the project going Andy? After reading your build thread I think that you purchased this car from the same Gentelman that I got my girl from. The wood fired pizza chiropractor from Dolls Point? Jeff
