New Club Car Addition 1973 240Z With Documentation

Yep..great tow car -
Hi Well finally found a great club car after several years of searching & rapidly rising values! Blurb from the sale info... For sale, Matching numbers green 73 240z. It has no rust not been driven much since it was painted many years ago. Paint is very good but not show perfect. Current QLD club rego. Just need interior plastic panels, door handles and emblems installed. I have not found the time to install them the last couple of years. I am open to reasonable cash offers. Factory original including AM radio except for the fluted bonnet, paint, new rubbers, and carpet. The dash as a couple of cracks. The original worn carpets are in a box. It has a fresh 2.8 on it at the moment (bored out l24 block) a cam with vernier adjuster. The headlight has been upgraded, the matching numbers L24 motor is in the garage. It comes with original bonnet original L24 cam in a box and exhaust headers. I have the cars logbooks and original import papers. I bought the car from the third owner in Devonport Tasmania 15 years ago and drove it up to Brisbane. At the time it only had one less than 5 cent size rust, surface rust on hatch latch panel and lead on roof joints lifting. It was an off market deal thankfully and a big thanks to a ZCCQ member for the heads up & also the owner who had realistic expectations. It saves it being flipped quickly as sooo many seem to do these days. Cannot believe our mint the floors are! Some photos after spending about an hour putting in some trim/badges etc.

zed74 replied to zed74's topic in Cars For Sale
Sorry Gav, That was my bad originally. Since working on the car I realised it is 536 noy 532 -
Future project has to go to make room All genuine cash offers over $7000 considered. Included in sale are the following: 1. Rolling shell with suspension/steering. 2. Vented rear hatch & glass (rust free) with vent holes welded up that can be reversed. 3. Doors x 2 including mechanics 4. Hotwire mag wheels 14 x 7 5. Fuel tank 6. All glass needed 7. Dash Board & guages Solid starting point for a classic zed restoration. ORIGINAL COLOUR Kalahari Tan Car appears to have been rust proofed from new & also received decent factory primer under body seal. Inspection is a must and no offers will be considered unless inspection has actually occurred. The car has been substantially stripped to metal & coated in SW2 CURING OIL to preserve metal. This allows the potential purchaser to see what's under the paint - NO guesswork & NO surprises! PM for further details

I will check the one we have in storage (rare spares item) but I think it maybe a LHS door skin Will confirm as I owe you one from my multiple interruptions with my fuel regulator hassles during Challenge Bathurst 2016

Are these sold? -
Hey Gav, Just realised when I pulled down the 240z zed off the storage rack it is actually no. 536 NOT 532 as previously advised (sorry), Surprised how solid this car is after giving it a good clean down & inspecting on the hoist
