  1. What hospital are you booked into for the operation?
  2. Thanks for posting that info Johnboy. I will ask the gingerbeer about it next time I see him. T/C kit sold to Gareth.
  3. Just on a side note to this. When I last spoke to the Vicroads engineer, he told me that they would not necessarily knock back rose jointed/rod end suspension points, but he would need the technical data and strength test results (if any) before he could pass them for street use.
  4. Haha! I did wonder if you were asking me. I did tell a lie. The ones I have do have the step down, but the threaded section is 17mm diam and the rod is 20mm diam. So a lot more "meat" there and gives a little adjustability with the longer threaded section?
  5. My rod is thicker than standard The rods that are on my car do not have the step down like in the drawing that DAZDA posted and are 17mm thick the whole way through so they limit the stress point where they normally can break. I have got one of those t/c bush kits like the one below, but since it won't fit over my large rod, I am willing to let them go if someone wants them for $25 + postage. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170700782324?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
  6. Hi triple z! Your ideal z is pretty much everyone elses ideal z too. Good luck with your search.
  7. Very nice indeed! On a side note, does anyone know where to get the little plastic bumper protectors like the ones I have circled in the pic?
  8. Holy sh1t! Didn't know this happened until now. I remember watching a video of him the other day and having a chuckle about how he looked like sideshow bob from the Simpsons (no disrespect intended) R.I.P
  9. Divorce settlement, wife got the house? Or maybe he was hired to sand/polish the floorboards.
  10. Very sad news to hear. Condolences to family and friends.
  11. Fine on this end. Pages load in a couple of seconds. I have noticed if I look at this site at work, it does load reasonably fast but it takes a long time to load the page fully for some reason.
  12. Doesn't help with the question but is this a genuine phase 3 or replica? BTW what welds are there that are visible and need to be filled in? I'd say take it back to the person who put all the pinholes there in the first place and have them fill them
  13. The responses look like they could be riveting reading. You have to wonder though about the OP and if it is just a troll. 1 post total and name is mkpopcorn, Michael Kackson popcorn pic... Haha!
  14. How hard would it be to just make up a little rubber gasket that seals around the pistons?
  15. Good to have some goals in personalizing the car to your tastes. Did you drive the car back home or trailer it? I like that Coomera area, been there a few times and actually wouldn't mind living around there.
  16. Now there's something you don't see everyday. Conjoined triplets that have one leg bent at a 90° angle.
  17. If you look at the pic of the seals, they have a soft spot, that you can bend to form the 90° bend. Can't guarantee that this is how they will arrive though. I might have to confirm this with the seller. If you don't mind using second hand, you could try to find a Kia wrecker near you, rip the door seals from a sportage 93-02 model and put them straight in. They are one continuous piece with the soft spot to bend to 90 already there.
  18. Hey Linton. Have you looked at these ones from Scott's? http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au/Datsun%201969-78%20240Z-260Z.htm I am about to order this kit from the ummmmm...... part sex change centre! And I could ask if they can send another screen and hatch seal as well if you like? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230679332615?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  19. People have been complaining about the fitment of those for ages now and I'm surprised they haven't done anything to fix the issues. I have also gone the Kia Sportage route and got one to try out. I haven't fitted it yet but it does have a nice snug fit and you can also use one in the hatch area.
  20. The only constructive criticism I would say is that it would be slightly easier to navigate if the two large folders "strip" and "final strip" were broken down into some more smaller folders with a better description of which area we are looking at, so you don't have to sift through so many pics to find the area you need. Looked like that shell would have been better off being acid dipped to save a lot of hassle.
  21. Just had a quick look. Looks easy enough to navigate and the thumbnailed pics are good so you don't have to load/look at every single pic. Question: What was all that goop inside the rear quarters? Mine did have some black sound deadener/rust preventive, but that oily goop looks like it was just chucked in there straight from a bucket.
  22. Great write up. Was fun to read. Is that you with the lovely lady lumps and the floral skirt?
  23. Big wall of text with some car pr0n pictures in between. He lost me at...... "PLEASE, READ THIS AUCTION IN IT's Entirety BEFORE BIDDING...Thank you"
