  1. So after all that been said, oils ant oils. Which oil should we use? So the cam gear lives.
  2. It will only idle when I put it on the trailer. Lol.
  3. Looks good Peter. My hands are getting sweaty just looking at the pictures.
  4. Going to try and get there, always good to catch up with all the guys, I also like looking at what type of cars turn . And there are some nice roads out that way.
  5. Looking really good Scott, well done on the brake mods.
  6. I'm happy to starte with the NDSOC ,they normally get 10 to 15 cars depending on weather. So we cruse up there and can make it up as we go. There will be a Bakery stop in there somewhere I'm sure. Any other takers.? Most people will do a late call, pending the weather.
  7. Sorry to here that Ash. Hope you can get her fixed with not to much fuss. Your dad will forgive you, but never forget. He will give you the odd reminder every now and then. Good luck with it Ash.
  8. Not Bad. It's f@$/!&g Awsome!!
  9. Jake, there's a lot of work to be done, can see why a lot of people get these cars with good intentions and leave them in the Garage. And over the next 6 months you walk out to the garage, go over the zed a thousand times , yer a bit here a bit there, a few sleepless nights. And then reality sets in, time money and more time. Would make a good project though. I wonder if Lurch could give it a photo quote to give us an idea on the body work to be done. After that should be smooth sailing .
  10. Yer like Jake says, sometimes the old Zeds sit around in the garage for a while and the last thing we think of is when was the last time I put fuel in this thing. I have fallen for this one it was three years and she didn't run to good . Change the fuel just to be sure.
  11. Chev z. Great time 1.36.4 . Man I had a look on natsoft and you must of done the most laps out of anyone , must of been a great day.Cheers .
  12. Hey that guy takes some nice photos. Good one Sinisha .
  13. Shaping up to be a big day boys and girls, hope the wether is kind to you.
  14. Bummer Gav.It was a nice original car. As you say you like nice original cars so if you fix it , it won't be the same again. As Scoota says , deep down you will always know it was stolen and repaired, and that will always play on your mind, sorry mate but do you think you can live with that. That is the question? For me let it go. Not sure when you are coming back to Melbourne , but why not look for one here would save some coin, I'm sure there are good ones here. Drop a line on the Mazda forums, In the mean time grab the cash and buy some thing to get you buy in the mean time . Good luck with your Delma .Regards Gordon.
  15. OMG, it's not as big as it looks, it's bigger! If you are chasing rear end grip you just got it. You might need to put a stiffer springs in the rear because your gonna need it. I think you need to give the car a bit more rake. ie. lower the front and raise the rear. Will be interesting to see the feed back on this one. Good luck in your quest for over all traction. Personally I think more rear end rubber would help. But 340 KW is a lot of grunt at the back wheels.
  16. Give us a date so we can all work on it. Looking forward to it .
  17. Give Zedman 240 a pm, he might be able to help you.

  19. This is great Oldzguy, I'm looking every day for the updates. It's like having our own Auszed PR.guy keeping us up to date. Good job , thanks, Gordon. Ps great pics.
  20. You go zed boys, it's a pitty this event doesn't get the recognition it deserves and publicity . Most people would not even know it was on.
  21. Looks like a nice original car. Very rear to see them that good. Good luck with her.
  22. Some times it gets to a point when your over it, you get so pissed off you leave it in the shed for weeks, and sometimes months. But time heals everything and eventually you start talking again, and say OK then I will have another go at it. Sigh ,it will be alright, that day will come , but no one Knows when. Good Luck with it.
