  1. Hey Simon, i didn't say that, although I might of been thinking it. I will be there. NDSOC are putting on a BBQ lunch, always good value. Cheers.
  2. Simon. You have to ask your self. How many guys on this forum have Zeds that can be driven, and how many of them do club racing. It narrows the field down bit. But if you come down they have a passenger session just after lunch, you might get lucky and get a ride, then you might get the bug to motivate yourself and enter one yourself.

Might have to leave it down here till you get setteled in. And I could run it in a bit more for you if you like. Pete said its not good for a race engine to sit still for to long! Like a thorough bread they need the exercise . Hahaha.
  4. Hi guys, I will put the engine in tomorrow , but the 3.9 diff that I have been using is to low. My 4.1 is having a makeover and should be ready early next week. Like Pete says could almost do with a 4.3 as this engine reves hard. But will put the 4.1 in and see how it goes. So if I get my act together I might be burning rubber next weekend. I also plan on putting it on a chassis Dyno to see how many killer bees it makes at the wheels. cheers .

  6. Nothing is cheap anymore, I didn't think there was any difference in the brake linings, what a bummer they didn't fit.

It's all done and dusted. Pete and Les put in a 12 hour day. Don't know the particulars, but Pete might be on later after a well earned nap. Hahaha.
  11. The Eagle has landed. Many thanks to Peter and Les.
  12. +1 to all you guys, it's amazing how the L series is still developing , but I don't know how they got 400 horses. Must be the US dynos, not saying they didn't get it ,but only in the US of A, keep on punching boys.
  13. so today we meet up with the NDSOC and drove to the Marrysville Golf Course. Then the VicZed guys broke away and cruised up to Lake Mountain, it was a bauituful morning with frost on the side of the road and some black ice on the last 2km to the top. There are some photos if you click on the link. We stopped at the Marrysville Bakery for a coffee on the way to the RACV car show at Yarra Glen. Great turn out of old classic cars. More pics. I think the club should look at going in this show next year, it was very well clattered for and so many cars to look at. Enjoy the Pics, cheers Gordon. http://s1012.photobucket.com/albums/af241/GL240z/Lake%20mountain%20cruise/

  17. Simon, I recon we join the NDSOC at Ringwood .stop at the Marrysville Golf Club have a chat, see who is in and who is out, and take it from there. From the Golf club could go back via the spurr, Tolangi to Kinglake for coffee, then run back down to Yarra Glen and check all the cars out. Cheers.
  18. Pauly ,if I had some Money at hand I would be driving up to Albury tomorrow . That is a bargain. Ever since they came out I wanted one, always liked them, but when the time came to add to the garage I went the GTR thought they where a better track car. Having said that I'll put this tread on my watch list. Sorry you have to let her go mate. Cheers.
  19. Guys , just read todays Cars Guide. On Sunday the RACV are having a car Display at the Yarra Glen racecourse .From 10am to 3.00pm, kind of a club thing, entry is a gold coin donation for the CFA. Could be worth a look on the way home. Just putting it out there. Cheers .
