    Why not cut the webbing out yourself? If its just asthetics youre after, find a spare, and just spend an afternoon cleaning it up with a drill press and a grinder. Just beware of the amount of heat your injectors will then me exposed to. I wouldnt go too far out of my way to find one, especially if they are $300! Could spend that on a custom intake!

    Ive always wanted to do a 10th anniversary 280z they look great. Gold with black stripes and details. My mate here keeps going on about some 'scarab z' butI got no idea what he means....

    Im going to build a E20 Urvan, (13 seater minibus) into a cruiser/camper (sky blue blue, white roof, chrome trims, tinted windows etc) The engine will be going got him to build for me Although it goes ok with the 440,000km on it now!

    Wow I think I will re-read a few times... Im day dreaming now..... 4mm overbore would be well suited to boost (10psi) then would it?

    What is the max capacity you can go on the L28 crank? 140mm rods and 89 bore doesnt sound right to get 3 liters?!

    I have spoken with the owner a few times about 3 years ago, he also has a 2 door 280z fairlady that he was trying to sell. Only problem with all the good gear he tries to sell is its out in the boonies...

    Good read. Just gotta get an engine stand & I will look at doing the same. Need to send the block to a shop though, gotta get the oil pickup and dipstick converted to suit the front bowl sump to suit the R30 Skyline... Also need to decide whether to boost it or N/A (gotta decide sooon!!!)

    Can we just bring photos of parts? the VG30det engine & Z32 5 speed wont fit in the boot without destroying everything

    I just had a conversation with another Z nut, he says the GC8 WRX brake pad will fit the Hilux caliper (with the 4 equal pistons) (wiht just a small tab to be grinded off) opening up a whole lot of possiblilties with Bendix/QFM and all the manufacturers

    The conversion could of been bought on a cost basis, as in 'for-sale, 250kw L28 engine package with 500nM of torque, only $5000' Then to get the same for an RB/VG conversion would b up to $10,000 hypothetical of course. My pick would be a VG30DET, and the VQ series too. I have 2x VG's inthe garage, still NFI what to do with them though
