custom springs and Koni shocks, my Nissan V8 puts out massive torque, so had to go for 400lb rear springs, but is pleaseant to drive on the road and does not bottom out on acceleration. Agree with previous post, my V8 weighs the same as the straight 6 it replaced, but generates alot more power and speed.

mine has a modified speedo (300kph)due to running 300zxtt box , same setup with a guy in the US is pulling nearly 300kph (behind vh45de motor)never really know till put on either dyno and max out or find a road without state photography , but will easily pull over 260kph, have pulled over 200kph in 4th without redlining

the Autos run a 180 diff, the manuals run a 200... some of the later 280zx's had different ratio diffs (ie:280zx turbo)

Early 280zx uses reciprocal ball , which is not great, but later ones came wth power assisted rack and pinion, which is good or you could adapt a wrx one maybe. -

You need a VASS certificate..
