  1. yes thats mine, had to make a new one after someone kindly pinched the old one, they really aren't that hard to do..
  2. there are many ways, you can get one that is meant to be for another car and cut & fabricate where it joins up to the zx bodywork, building the difference with poly foam then laminating with fibreglass.as below
  3. Speak to BenZ http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?topic=4072.0 personally I like building mine by hand..
  4. V8 is always a nice option & Welcome
  5. Series 1 or Series 2 ?
  6. Apparently series 2 intermittent wiper amp will also work with the series 1, if anyone has one they look similar except there is an extra pin, this is for the variable speed on the intermittent control.
  7. but all those factors do not relate to top end speed, still trying to figure what mine will be but it would gallop past any standard 240-260z and give the extremely modified a good run for their money. rear ratios, horses and torque are what get you there.

  9. yes, most cars get wrecked and they go down with the sinking ship, no one removes them or the horn relays, that is why they are getting scarce.
  10. thanks anyway ..
  11. not sure it is the same,(28820 -P7100 AMP-INTERMITTENT WIPER) the series 2 has a different wiper control , similar to the R31 skyline
  12. will take some pics and post them.
  13. Yes, dealt with them , they have great stuff and are reliable, just have to fork out for postage Whilst looking at their site check out their gallery, lots of good ideas
  14. Yes, as per title we are talking about a series 1, 280zx with factory rear caliper(Australian delivered 2+2)
  15. So your v8 is running with 4 studs ?
  16. Will keep you updated on progress, but so far looks like I will be changing the rotors and making a spacer
  17. in the process of doing a R31 rear conversion, what dscs did you use? is yours 4 or 5 stud?
  18. Located in a recess near the brake booster there is usually a plastic cover, and 2 relay lloking devices, 1 is the horn relay the other is the intermittent wiper amp it has 7 pins in total, a bunch of 6 + 1 to the side usually has a steel mounting plate and the body (plastic) is screwed on with 4 screws.

  20. Would be interested in what people have done, in the process of upgrading my series 1 rear brake setup, because as most know they are not very good due to; 1. tiny pad size 2. caliper weighs as much as a ships anchor 3.all the stopping power of an angry field mouse
  21. but would it generate enough torque to achieve max RPM in 5th gear? and push the car through the air resistance? would need to address the aero factor and the ratios of diff, final gear, wheel size and capacity of engine to achive max RPM and torque at speed. Think the downward slope is the best option.
  22. interesting colour scheme
