  3. Have to agreee, more rigidity makes for a better car, welcome to the forum though..and good luck, nice to see another 280zx getting some love.
  4. what parts do you have? Guards, bonnet?
  5. that's Okay , have done an upgrade using ED ford falcon rears (similar to mustang) and 350z rotors (they are vented which is nice, using a steel bracket welded directly on.
  6. Have not noticed any vibration at any speed, but i replaced my whole chassis,what setup are you running (engine & box) ?

  8. I know it sounds like stating the obvious but why not just get carbon flares, you can get ZG flares in carbon.?
  9. Mine is a Kazz competition LSD in the original housing rated to 1000hp. My chassis has also been completely redone with heavier guage steel, and full length of car, with additional bracing.
  10. 3 words that come to mind.... High speed stability look at what happens at Le Mans when the car looses it, it becomes airborne, aero has to be number one.

  16. fantastic to see another 280zx getting some loving, (not by those pretty girls either) look forward to seeing it blossom, we all have encountered our fair share of rebuild joys with our 280zx, at least yours looks pretty straightforward Regards Iain

  19. fellow Zers, my playing around with skyline R31 calipers just left me frustrated, but after some calculations; 350z rear disc 292 diameter, 62 hat height, (close to the 68 of the original Series 1 280zx) by 16 in thickness & vented Rear caliper off a EA - ED falcon with built in hadbrake (similar to original) with much greater surface area.

  22. Go the 280zx route, still get some cheap examples and relatively reasy to do up
  23. bottom half is another bar, top half i made. bottom part was for a hyundai (raven front spoiler)
  24. Do not think you need that much skill, if I can do it ??
