The rarer they get, the more they are worth, realistically the number of straight Zs are dwindling, even 280zx's Shannons quoted mine as insurable at $20k, and as rust cancer and death by carcrash takes out more they will only appreciate...look after your Z and it may be a valuable addition down the track.

Ive gone for a custom colour, they didn't have an interesting colour choice back then , we do now.

Koni's are adjustable , I have Konis and they are terrific, just set them firmer..

Bought King springs but they were too soft, ended up getting custom springs, depends how stock your car is ..

Welcome fellow 280zx owner, as per Simon I prefer hardtops to targa (due to same reasons) but hope you get it nice and pretty for some pictures
