  1. Also interested in a high quality carpet and interior trim kit. I've always wanted to use a quilted leather product for the seat infills, door cards and rear hatch area.
  2. I'm also interested pending the final design and details.
  3. Contact JE in the states, cheaper than you'd expect and very nice. Otherwise SPS in Dandenong make a good slug but to the best of my knowledge they don't do any fancy shit like JE
  4. Hi Richard, Looks like an interesting build, the Gear Vendors unit will make it much more flexible - I assume you're running 3.7 or 3.9 diff ratio? I was looking at your rear suspension setup and it seems to be a good solution to the dreaded camber and toe inducing trailing arm debarcle that was standard in these nuggets. There are a couple of things that you may want to revisit regarding your upper arm design though. 1) You'll end up with a roll centre well below your centre of mass which isn't ideal, I'd say somewhere about 120mm above ground level 2) I reckon you'll get some crazy camber gain on bump, perhaps you could drill some more mounting holes so that you can adjust the inboard mounting point up at say 25mm increments? It's going to squat pretty hard with a V8 in the front, so you want to get all of that rubber on the road! Great build, nice to see something different.
  5. Do you know what the airfoil is that you are using? Perhaps you have a little too much aoa and that's what is costing you the top speed? You reduce the aoa by 1 degree every session until you find the balance point between drag and downforce. This is obviously predicated on the assumption that the airfoil is reasonable efficient and not stalling and becoming a sail on the straight.
  6. Hi Mossy, There's a top fabricator in Bayswater that can probably do it for you, and he's cheap. Does a lot of sports sedans and so on, pretty bloody handy with a TIG too. PM me if you want his number.
  7. Just buy some universal rack end boots and trim them to suit. Ran them for years on the rally car. ~$40 from Burson.
  8. I've got some rears if you want to measure - also for sale! I've got a set of sectioned struts if you want to measure the overall tube length for your calcs, but they're in the race car so you'd have to measure around the coil overs etc.
  9. You get what you pay for. That's why I run Alcons.
  10. Plenty of good engine builders around Gordo, have a look at this. http://www.performanceforums.com/forums/showthread.php?67286940-NA-M20-with-TK-goodness
  11. Yeah there's got to be 20kgs of bog under that very bad paint. I reckon $700 is top dollar for a flogged out station wagon, I'll see how the auction ends
  12. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Datsun-260z-2-2-Sports-1977-auto-no-reserve-Melbourne-/321126164949?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item4ac49c69d5&_uhb=1 Anyone bidding on this? I want some little bits off it, happy to go halves if you guys want to part one out?
  13. Sold to me. Can you give me a price for shipping to Melbourne 3104 please.
  14. I'll take the 55mm strut legs mate. I'll PM you about it.
  15. Been done before.
  16. Ill take the front strut legs. I don't need springs or any other stuff, just the leg and axle.
  17. Hi Steve, I use one on my track car (not a Z) but had to convert it to triple flow to make it effective. Not a difficult process and now it performs really well. The overall quality was very good (for the price) but the supplied cap was rubbish as others have noted. I picked mine up from the eBayer, and then another turned up at my door a week later! So at effectivly $80 each, I'm really happy.
  18. I'll take the manifold, PM sent.
  19. I'll take one for a six and one for a four. I'm looking at another Roadster on the weekend, so maybe 2 4cyl ones!
  20. Manifold?
  21. Hi I bought these pipes off Mossy a couple of months ago, but I'm getting something else now so I won't need them. They look like Genie's but can't be sure, good condition. $250, Eastern Melbourne, no post. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,8231.msg79429.html#msg79429
  22. Looking for an L28 block or short motor in Melbourne. It's for a rebuild so condition is not an issue.
