Hello Mate My 2cw.......... I think youll find many of the answers to your questions ( listed in the posts )..... Tig is not for beginners ( Im assuming you are ) and requires a skill set above the average welder, I use Cigweld gear and run a gas mig @ .9 wire for all my repairs, a vertical up for firewall repairs using mig will not run / drip To stop panel warp from excessive heat, tack your repair piece into place, weld a small section, let it cool and repeat A perfect weld is really only achievable by the person holding the handpiece with good knowledge of their gear combined with their ability

Hello Mate As its only the hatch your painting at the moment ( not a very large area ) sand it all back to the base primer, reprime it and paint it with acrylic....1/2 lt base colour will be heaps.... If your only after a quick easy and cheap fix this is the way to go....if you muck up, just sand it back and respray again

There are units available on Ebay stating they are for Z cars, however I doubt they are purpose designed and made , as I see it, if a quality generic unit fits use it, I did... There are numerous excellent units available supplied with a multitude of body contour swivels in the kit to suit any fitting application..........

I think clear would be the way to go personally, but at approx AU $110 all up a pair, you could buy both... Ive seen them sell locally for AU$170 to $180 a pair, I wouldnt drive with high beam on... NB: Im not sure if you can legally have tinted covers on your headlights??
