Hello Mate Sounds youve got a good solid base car, sadly rust is the ( killer ) car and pocket wise, there is really no cheap fix although cheaper if you can do it yourself, but you say your not game... With the list of goodies you want to do and depending how bad the termites are you would be looking at a minimum of $10k to $15k plus to bring her back up to speed..

Lurch..... Your more old school tech than I thought....perfect... no need to tell you to check each radius stretch from side to side and adjust your block as you go......... I use a block of soft pine I got from a packing crate There are of course more modern pieces of equipment on the market that bolt onto your wheel studs etc.......if thats your thing

Simplest way..... I had the same issue on my ZX, I made my own new links, very easy to do, get a set of jewelers files and file the block terminals NB:There was a post on the forum from a member who was making and selling the links for a couple of dollars each if you dont have the materials yourself

Its always preferable to patch / weld, the job will take you all but a few minutes once youve prepped Bodgy bogged panelwork will eventually cause you dramas. A general rule, bog really should only be used as a surface finisher after your metal repair

Good Work Sach........ Glad they turned out for you, you started small, now onto bigger things... NB: Grab an old panel from the wreckers and practice your painting, it wont take you long, there are plenty of good simple reading technical articles / books to get you started youll be surprised how easy it can be once you understand the principles

As others have said, most suppliers will have a pattern already on file for your make and model, all you need to do is call, I got a complete set for my ZX over the phone, paid by CC and had them in my hands in about a week to 10 days... Anyway, your call, just didn't want you doing a Big Kev.......
