  1. Very nice, cheers.
  2. At least grab the parts. It has both sets of tail lights and rear bumper! In fact the whole back end looks to be in good shape.
  3. I didn't realise that there was such a thing as 100% complete. There is alway something more you can upgrade or re-upgrade .
  4. Nothing like a 1100km trip to work out the gremlins.
  5. Steve, I believe you are the moderator for the QLD forum. Can you please organise this thread a little when you get a chance so that it is easier to see who is in qld looking for a mount and who is in other states looking for a mount. Perhaps you could even move their comments to their states sections. Cheers Brad
  6. Guys. ONCE MORE! This is in the queensland specific thread in the queensland specific section of the forum. I am only looking for South east qlders that can pick up from Brisbane. So far that is Myself, and possibly the following people, Waxhead, maybe stevo, 240zed (I will confirm with people when I get a price). It seems like Ben has taken it on himself to get you Adelaide guys organised. I don't know if he is looking to cater for the rest of you down south, but I am only LOOKING at bulk postage for people who can pick up from my house to help save them some cash. For you qld guys, I have not heard back from Roostmonkey on Hybrid yet. Will let you know when I do. Cheers Brad
  7. Nice car, but I am a bit worried. You have $60,000+ of cars and you still live with your mother???
  8. Someone on Ozdat has two for sale http://www.ozdat.com/classifieds/index.php
  9. I had a look at your drawing again, it does appear to only stop the vertical movement (does not look like it attaches to the diff). If your frount mount is ok and your just running you stock L6 you can probably get away with just replacing your rear mount.
  10. Ha, my wife is a chick but I think Steve might be a bit too feminine for her. HA! Sorry Steve, couldn't resist.
  11. I think I might be able to make this one. I was just going to bring myself unless everyone else is bringing wives/girlfriends. She might get a bit bored if it is only guys talking motor talk.
  12. It is a redesign of the front diff mount (so essentially it does replace that part). Originally it was designed as an improvement to the original leather strap, an easy way to relocate the front of the diff lower to better suit the V8 guys driveline angles and a way of giving an almost solid mount but without the harshness. The V8 guys relocate the front of their diffs lower by using a thick GM mount, I will be looking at getting a thinner mount to keep my original driveshaft angles. I thought you bought a front diff mount from Dat2kman? Didn't you post a drawing of the part? Are you sure your clunk is from the front rising under acceleration? How are your driveshaft/halfshaft unis?
  13. Greg, I live 10 minutes down the road. I'll send you a PM with my address. Brad
  14. I have one of these at home if you want it. It is yours if you want it. Not sure if it works as the car had an internal regulator in it when I bought it.

    Badges

Not quite sure what you are trying to say, but the 2 C pillar badges are the exact same badge, no matter which side they are put on. The front quarter panel badges are also exactly the same no matter which side they are on (260Z slanted left to right)
  16. I am happy to order people some from Queensland, and I will post how much the cost of postage was so you can get an idea of what it will cost you. However if you want some for your state, you will have to organise that yourself.
  17. I often think that there are so many other things I could be putting my time into, that if someone has already made a decent product at a reasonable price then it isn't worth reproducing. Unless of course you have plenty of time, which I know I don't at the moment. (Wow that was a useless rant, sorry).

  19. I agree with Lurch, the suspense is killing me. Don't know how you are dealing with it!
  20. Forgot about that. Probably cheaper for you to order one from the states then drive up from Victoria Lurch. HA! http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=156415 http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=144979 http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=144475 Here is some pictures from the third thread
  21. Sorry guys, not technically an event, but it is directed at you queensland guys. One of the guys on HybridZ has made a bunch of the Ron Tyler diff mounts (you will have to get the rubber mount yourself). He is selling them for $62 shipped to anywhere in the US. I am currently asking him for a price for them shipped to Brisbane. Also asking him for a combined shipping cost incase anyone else wants to jump in on this. Let me know if you are interested. Brad
  22. Jerryb on hybridz makes new stainless fuel tank straps.
  23. Wow, looks good mate. Well done. What does a job like that set the customer back? Was it a full respray or did you just blend in with the existing paint job?
  24. I'm going off topic here, but that should be pretty easy to check mate. Most temperature sensors are just resistive devices that increase with temperature. Just measure the resistance of the sensor at different temperatures, I.E. chuck it in ice water, then boiling water. That will tell you if the sensor has open or short circuited.
  25. I think I might be busy that weekend (birthdays). I will get back to you. Anyone for the drags the Wed night before?
