  1. I'm in Australia, Brisbane actually. Yes FD seats do fit with little modification, but I seriously don't know how you would drive with them installed like that. I could barely fit my closed hand between my steering wheel and my legs. It took a while to do, but once I worked out how to do it, I reckon it could be knocked over in a weekend. Especially since I have done all the hard work for everyone.
  2. What are you willing to pay for them +shipping? I have a set with good rubbers.
  3. Keep it up The seat rails are spot welded on, so theoretically you should just be able to drill them out. Since I was replacing my rails and not my floors, this was too tedious for me so I ended up just cutting them off and ripping the fold out with multigrips.
  4. I find the problem with most manuals is that they are written when the car is new. For instance Haynes say that they pull the car apart and then put it back together in order to right the book. But there car doesn't have 320000 km's and 15 years of seizing.
  5. HA! Fair enough. I'll take that one on the chin.
  6. It must be past my bed time, because that comment went straight over my head.
  7. I didn't even read the first post properly I thought I read that it was a maximum of 5cm drop and any drop required engineering. I really should read the posts more thoroughly. XA, I am in Brisbane, really should fill in that location field.
  8. How can they prove that is was lowered after august 1st? Do you guys have yearly inspections or something?
  9. I am pretty sure I saw this out near McDowell/Arana Hills area. Stopped on Collins Road I believe, with a man in it? Was a few months ago though, was driving the Datsun. Could that have been you? Are you on the north side of brisbane?
  10. HA! 3:06pm was my lunch break Greg. Started around 6am and didn't get out of there till just before 6pm. My post must have looked pretty funny though.
  11. That was my original plan. But the over-riders are two pieces of metal folded and welded together. The seam is in the front under the rubber. Looks rather ugly, but if it was welded/smoothed and chromed, I think it would look quite nice.
  12. Probably won't be in. Had a crap week at work this week and next doesn't look any better.
  13. Not for me it wasn't. Trying to reproduce the chrome/lighting is beyond me. Besides it was two bolts, much quicker then my photoshop skills. I took them off, but for the last 6months the whole bumper has been off aswell (Hated it at first, but the bumperless rear end has really grown on me).
  14. Easy way to work out what you prefer is to do what I did. Take a photo of the car with over-riders and without over-riders from the same position. Then flick between them quickly.
  15. Don't like the sparkly paint. It is clean, but it is also just a carby L26. And he can't say that it is all stock, because the paint is too far out.
  16. xa1973. I think that might be the wrong model car there.
  17. You keeping the L28 Greg?
  18. Wow, bog can hide a multitude of sins. At least you haven't found a house door hinge like mull/hugo did. Keep up the spirits, you're going to have a 2009 model 240z soon.
  19. Is this the same steve that use to live in Brisbane? I thought he had defected to NSW.
  20. I don't beleive that for a second, because you have said this before.
  21. You get quite a bit of air movement through them actually. Living in brisbane I open them quite often in summer.
  22. Depending on what sort of track you are racing and what torque your putting out, you might not need all the gears. Might even be able to do with just 2nd to 4th. Now I am just talking garbage, don't listen to me.
  23. Looking good mate. It is a lot lighter then I was expecting though. I thought the 907 was a dark green? Doesn't look as light as the metallic green they had though.
  24. Welcome. I was thinking the same thing when I read the first post.
