  1. Sold Head, valve cover and Z32 gearbox adapter.
  2. This is a 235 tire on a 7" rim (yes I know everyone will tell you that is too small a rim for 235s but the way the tire fits on the rim is actually quite good, these rims might be a bit forgiving though) with standard guards and not rolling. I have about 10mm to stock springs.

    MX5 seats

I found my Rx-7 seats in a wreckers in melbourne (or was it adelaide). Basically I had him ship them up to brisbane. $600 delivered. I have seen them for as little as $400 but they don't come up often so you just have to take them when they come. Try ebay regularly and the wreckers/imports. My mate actually has three Rx-7 seats (1 is the recaro type) but doesn't want to sell them.
  5. Have changed original post for gearbox. I forgot to mention that this bellhousing will bolt up to the following gearboxes. Z32 300zx 5spd manual Z31 300zx 5spd manual RB25 5spd manual RB26 5spd manual Also, I have a RB26 5spd gearbox that I can sell if anyone wants a full package. Only thing with the RB26 gearbox is that it has a transfer case that requires removing in order to fit in our cars tunnel. If you wanted the gearbox, bellhousing and adapter I would probably let the whole setup go for $1100. Photo of my RB26 5spd
  6. Sure would, however I beleive that it is just a straight through adapter (I.E. bolts go all the way through the adapter into the intake). It would be more beneficial as a Idle air bypass (in the photo you can see the port coming through the top, this has a threaded hole on the outside and a bolt currently in it). How does $20 plus $9.90 prepaid postage bag sound? Also, everyone, the Z32 adapter/bellhousing is now open to everyone. Cheers Brad
  7. Was hoping for parts, but this is even better. Good luck to whoever bought the car.
  8. Gees guys, Lurch has the comment ("Ar#ehole of a Moderator - DEAL WITH IT") in his signature! Lurch put his back up when someone commented on modifying the 240z. Now someone has said don't pull me up for making my first post without an introduction. Once again, good luck with the sale Stew. I guess from all this you are at least getting free Bumps.
  9. Beautiful! Who bought it? Is it getting parted or built?
  10. Stewart, nice car, good luck with the sale. Waxhead it isn't original (although not far from it), so I reckon an RB30dett would go great in it. However I reckon you'd be better off with a 260, diff already there, sitffer body etc, plus cheaper to get into.
  11. Did you have a Z31? I thought you only had the 32.
  12. Added Z32 to L6 Gearbox adapter and Bellhousing
  13. Gees mate, I thought you were going to give the forum a good couple of weeks before you cut it up and binned it. You only posted 48 hours ago.
  14. Mate, Looking at building my own mounts this weekend, but do you have a photo of how the engine sits with the castlemain mounts? (I.E. Want to see what sort of lean). Also, is that one of the mounts on the block? Brad
  15. I sent a box to WA that was a cubic weight of 7kg and it was 26. This would be a cubic weight of well over 10 - 15kg (as big as a radiator with the shroud).
  16. I have a 2.8ltr fan if you still want to buy one, but postage to melbourne would be a killer. They do move a lot of air with the shroud one.
  17. Added clutch and flywheel.
  18. Looks nice, that was quick shipping. Brad
  19. If you do go with Mega squirt, don't skimp on the wiring. I bought my car with a Mega squirt installed and hated the thing! I thought that it was a piece of rubbish (Tune seemed to change, run rough one day, crap the next. Lean one day, rich the next). Although I was a bit unfair on the system as it was wired poorly with no screening on the input wires. So, make sure you wire it well and take some care with the installation. You have to keep in mind that the computer is built to a budget. Things like wiring is connected via a parallel printer connection or only being able to run high impedance injectors (unless you use inline resistors) etc. So just keep in mind that you are buying a budget computer, so you can't expect it to be the be all and end all.
  20. Well I am no good to ride shot gun with, unless you want to make engine noises while we pretend to go around corners etc. (It would be like that cool runnings movie when they are steering in the bathtub).
  21. Hey don't joke! That is the fastest my car has gone in months. HA!
  22. Z, sorry mate but Vindicare has sent the money so the coil bracket/coils is sold. I sent Waxhead the cad file for the mount though. Little hint for your question.
  23. Have you thought anymore about the indentation of the original bumper on the quarter panel? Could the bumper fill in that hole as an extension/plug? Oh yeah, forgot to mention, looking good! I like the wheel arch flat spot that continues down to the bottom of the bumper, looks perfect
  24. Few more gaskets added, prices for head/block etc
