  1. Steve, you could always just have your 17th Birthdays party at the workshop day.
  2. HA! Too late, saw him the other weekend. I am one to talk though.
  3. Add only lists hotside components mate. I can't imagine that it would include intake/fuel injection side as well.
  4. Bloody hell that is cheap mate. Good luck with the sale, shouldn't last too long.
  5. Looking good mate, started on that coil loom for you, not too happy with it though so might redo it again (probably why my projects take so long because I keep redoing things). So what is the new deadline? Come on, post a deadline to the registration date, then work like buggery to meet it. Once the date is public it is much more motivating (which is why I am not putting a deadline on mine, HA!)
  6. Wow, that is a good price! Well done.
  7. Leather? Vinyl? Price range or is it mates rates?
  8. Hey guys, First father's day for myself (5 week old). Got bacon and eggs for breakfast (he is really quite advanced for his age, ha), a personalised calendar and got a car cover coming for the Z. Soon a mate will be coming around to take our first real family photos (hopefully he will photoshop me down to a 34" waist and a chiseled chin.
  9. Will you take 24499? HA! sorry, couldn't resist. Good luck with the sale and what project will this be funding?
  10. Why not just do 300zx gearboxes? Use the bellhousing from the RB26 gearbox that you get with your frontcut, then each time you kill a gearbox, just unbolt and bolt another in. I got my z32 gearbox for $500 much cheaper then a RB25 gearbox.
  11. HA, HA, HA. Sorry Guys, I will leave your thread alone now.
  12. I already have the Motec and loom for fuel injection, so don't think I will want SUs on an RB26. Thanks anyway.
  13. I have a car with an RB26 half way in. Still needs engine rebuilt, big turbo, intercooler, radiator, driveline, lsd, big! brakes (looking at gtr ones), hell while where at it, we might as well do a paint job and retrim of the seats. You can all finish it off for me, I wont object. HA!
  14. Sorry to sound like a vulture, but what exactly do you have for sale other then the flares and spoiler?
  15. Wiring isn't hard, just take your time and be meticulous.
  16. Run screened cable for your Crank/cam signals. Don't skimp on this step, it will cause you issues. I like to twist all my signal/outputs wires as well, but that is a little anal. Not sure where to buy from.
  17. Those are the sort of drives that convince you not to sell. HA!
  18. Yeah I have found it a pretty reasonable option. Even if it is double that (I.E. you said an hour trip), it is still easier then picking up trailer, worrying about your tie downs and towing etc. At least with a flatbed you don't have to worry about it getting home in one piece.
  19. Do you have a trailer to tow the car (or one that you can borrow)? If not then I would definitely consider the flat bed truck. I have towed my car on a flat bed several times over the last couple of years. For a 20-30minute trip it generally costs me $88. Most mobs will do you a quote before hand so you can at least consider the cost.

Did you get my text reply? I'm home sunday if you still want that short block.
  21. Image below might help people. They do look quite similar, albeit upside down (though you could use right for left and vice versa). Would be worth trying to track some down to measure up. Might have to fake the chrome strip though as these don't have the indentation between lights.
  22. Gees mate, I thought you would at least keep one of your cars. Good luck with the sale and hurry up and do another (more quality rebuilds on the road the better for the Zs future preservation).
  23. +1 for VPW. Cheapest I could find. Summit auto in the states list them cheaper, but it wouldn't let me sign up from australia.
  24. Guys, Another alternative (especially if you want to save weight Greg, should be able to save a good 5 grams here ) http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/92784-s30-z-emblems-in-vinyl/page__pid__875624#entry875624 I have dealt with 1 tuff z before (bought some cnc'd gear from him), very polite, prompt, professional service. Brad
  25. Great to hear mate. Sorry it was a day or so late. Had my wife give birth to our first son last saturday and didn't realise just how much it would take out of me. Cheers Brad
