  1. Thanks for listing the radiator. Hope you get it fixed Gareth. Hope you do not get too much "ScunKnuckleSyndrome".
  2. you got the seller ID you bought it off?
  3. OFF TOPIC, where did you get you radiator from Gareth?
  4. ok looks like they will not fit.. any chance of mdyfying them?
  5. I am not sure if they are wider. they look the same but I have never seen a 260Z 2 seater and a 260Z 2+2 together to compare. Either way if they will fit, Rev you can have them after I have got some pics for you to look at them. Just cover the postage and I will send them, That is thanks for helping me with those Carbs you sold me cheap to get my yellow 240z home from Melbourne.
  6. Rev I have some, I will try get some pics, they are not mint but are reasonable from memory. They are off a 2+2. but they should fit.
  7. are you still doing this kit?
  8. How much are you looking for the front bar and the best rear bar? I will have some wheels shipped from Sydney fairly soon when I order them. I am located in tassie.
  9. $10 lol. I know that was a typo more like $10k. Just buy a 240z and swap your motors around. Have an L series 2wd GTR and sell that. and a RB Zed.
  10. are these for sale still?
  11. Stevo have you turned into Lurch during my absence from the forum?
  12. I fully understand why you would want to swap your GTR for a RB ZED. Hence why I will keep my RB ZED. much nicer shape, but I have respect for the skyline.
  13. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/SWR01 and here http://www.blackdragonauto.com/features/Z/Z_4.htm
  14. Found a few prices online for a Mocal oil Thermostat with AN-10 fittings looking at around US$119 see link below. http://97.74.103.94/files/thermos$.pdf?Submit1=More+Information+and+Pricing
  15. http://www.thinkauto.com/oilstats.htm below quote from this link.
  16. ok after much searching I think I have found the same oil bypass valve pictured it is a Mocal. Specifications and installation are in this link. http://97.74.103.94/files/thermos$.pdf
  17. I guess you were talking to Hunterzed. but just go to ebay.com do not put ebay.com.au. this will take you to the american ebay site. type in "240z radiator" you will find a page or so of them there. they all look pretty similar.
  18. I was doing some research on front radiator ducting on hybridz.org and found this picture, It is described as a "high flow capacity, bypass thermostat for the oil system" looks like the answer we are looking for. I put some yellow directional arrows on the hoses as I stared at the pic for 5 mins trying to work out what was going on. (hose colours blend a bit going through radiator support) Also take note of the markings on the thermostat. Seems like a simple automatic solution. I will be doing some research on pricing and manufacturers I will keep you all posted. EDIT: After reading the installation and specification pdf that I have linked futher in this thread. It looks like the image below is plumbed up wrong. check it out yourself.
  19. lol that flyscreen would do a good job of screening flies ay. lol
  20. how many rows does that oil cooler have? I like the fine mesh on your front grill. keeps the bugs out. I will use that.
  21. a bypass tap could work well. would there be a possibility of the oil going stale if the bypass was left on for extended periods? As would probably be the case here in tas.
  22. that radiator looks nice and shiny, and easy to modify with flat end tanks. Not that I can weld aluminium but mates can.
  23. Not that my car will be standing still for any long periods of time, but I am going to get a 16" 3000CFM fan for the radiator. Also make a shroud up so it is pulling air through the radiator and intercooler that Alumiclad looks like an ideal product to make it out of and possibly oil cooler covers. I also have a 260z vented bonnet installed to aid air flow The oil cooler kits have a oil filter relocation as part of the kit which is an added bonus. I am going to try mount the oil cooler away from the intercooler and radiator airflow, as not to add that heat load back into the circuit. Anyone have pics of their oil cooler installs?
