  2. This round only is yank iron only- the rest of the time its any car in teh TC65 class, Next series we will vote and see what we want to run, probably the GTC65's with a couple of single make rounds. So basically everyone gets a say and then one of the guys takes it all into account and makes up a season.
  3. yah! thats the way sco_aus, Hey there Ash i remember racing against you i dont know whether you remember me or not, HistorX is gtl2 but in rfactor form. Remember to read the manual that comes with the mod (if you download it) for setting up your wheel. Its very important.
  4. Very addictive stuff, i will be on the server tonight if you fancey a run. server name: =UGN= XGN HistoricGT Password: fasterxgn track is Mid-Ohio http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Mid%2DOhio%20Sports%20Car%20Course
  5. Cant get it any cheaper for $40 mate, If the game looks bad its not the games fault you probably have an old computer. Heres how the game should look on an above average computer If you do have an above average computer (1-2 years old) then you need to check that you have it configured correctly. Make sure its in DX9 for a start.
  6. Just so you know the link i provided is all one part, so a DL manager or something might be in order, hate to get to nearly the end and have a dropout Im going to remove the rfactorcentral link so no one else downloads it by mistake.
  7. Wow nick your almost there, when you download the first link and then install it, On the first time you start the game you will get an option to "activate it" using paypal or whatever. once you have done that then install the HistorX mod. just to refresh what you have to do
  8. Alright, first download is: rFactor light: http://files.filefront.com/rFactorSetup1255LiteRFCexe/;10214561;/fileinfo.html That is the game itself. Install it and then you have to buy the game to activate it $50 Then Download and install this mod: http://thepiratebay.org/tor/4260676/rfactor_Historic_GT__amp__Touring_Cars_1.01 Its a big download but well worth it. That will get you going so you can jump on the server and play but you will have to add the right tracks of course. You will find the servers track list at XGN HistorX section in the stickys. There is 100's of mods for rfactor which are all free. You pay once and own rFactor for life. The mods and tracks just keep comming. In the meantime dont be shy to register at http://www.xgn.com.au/forums/ Our section is in the racing part. You will find them very friendly and very much like minded people. Glen73 PS Sulio, its one "n" lol
  9. Hi guys, You will find that we already run a league on Wednesday nights, We are small on numbers ATM so now would be a great time to jump in. I pretty much know rfactor inside out so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Here's a couple of cars that i painted in some spare time, pictures were to big but got this youtube vid instead to give you an idea on the game, you tube quality is pretty crap. LM72 cars at nords http://www.rfactorcentral.com/videos/index.cfm?v=pD4dj6vv7Y8 Sometimes we will do season with our own liveries with our numbers, names etc on the cars, also have team mates and full scoring. Here is the Season schedule that i do everyweek. http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl6el8/HTML-Export/Calendar.html
  10. Also if you are going to download the historX mod download it from http://thepiratebay.org/tor/4260676/rfactor_Historic_GT__amp__Touring_Cars_1.01 It,s 1.2 gig all in 1 file so try use a DL manager. The one from rfactor-central you will need a game called GTL to acivate the mod which i doubt any of you will have. The above link you dont need GTL Sulio, If you get people to join XGN http://www.xgn.com.au/forums/index.php? then i can pass on the server password so you all can have private use of the historX server or the PCC07 server. Cheers Glen73
  11. I run 2 rfactor leagues, one of which should interest you all greatly. Historical racing (historX) has classes from, TC65 GTC65 and the full blown 76's. If your interested goto http://www.xgn.com.au/forums/index.php and register, we have control of 2 online servers that can be configured any way possible. We also run a PCC07 league and a F1 league all being rfactor based.
  12. ok i will go through another avenue, signwave in moorabbin have the same vinyl.
  13. i would be very interested rev, i thought vinyl would be to hard with the bonnet hump but it seems to be sitting nice on yours. I would be after 2 main white stripes running along the whole car. glossy if possible. I can give you some exact measurments (width) if you like as then i could get a quote off you. thanks (getting excited) glen.
  14. Hey Rev, are those stripes painted on or are they decals? cheers glen
  15. sorry forget to mention i checked the fuseable links aswell, i cant think of anything else other than the switch. thanks anyway man! Mik has a spare one i should go try it.
  16. Can anyone tell me where the headlight relay is, or if a 77 model even had a relay? Headlights stopped working, I took the headlights out and put them straight onto 12volts and they worked, i then looked at the fuse's and all was good. So im thinking either its the switch or the relay. Parkers still work. anyhelp please.
  17. When i found out you had a wooden wheel i thought to my self fair enough for the gloves. I tried the wooden gear knob but thought there was to much wood going on. I didnt have matching stains though. Would make a difference.
  18. hmmmm thought i would try again and still not available, damn puters
  19. comes up as video no longer available
  20. rFactor will run on just about any pc, you have a choice between DX7,DX8 and DX9. If you want just post up your computer specs and i will give you an honest answer, Also rfactor along with LFS have the best netcodes for online racing leagues. I know it sounds a little dorky but there are some pretty serious leagues out there. Also its a hell of a lot cheaper than the real thing. Just to give you small taste you can use the proper motec software that they use in the real world to try and pickup a few tenths here and there. Also valuble for working out spring rates as you can see how many G's your pulling under brakes to try and reduce weight transfer. Keeping the tyre's even in heat is another challenge in its self. You buy the software once and then the mods are endless and for free. Some of the mods like PCC07 have been developed closely with real PCC07 drivers so the end result is very very close. They are also laser scanning tracks now so you get to feel every single little bump as the real world drivers would.
  21. rfactor is much closer to simulation. http://www.rfactorcentral.com/
  22. i just recently put a woodgrain wheel on my car and just love the feel of it.
  23. Glen

    Boot Lock

if you take the lock to a locksmith it will cost you $30, that will get you 2 keys.
  24. Great write up, thanks
  25. Hi michael, IF its a 280 then my friend is wrecking a series 2 out but you better be quick if you want stuff as someone else seems to be taking a lot of the panels off it.
