  1. Thanks Lurch, they are a little more expensive than i first thought.
  2. Hi Lurch, can i ask which clutch you ended up going with, i got a quote from autobarn saying the Exedy Sports Tuff-HD is $329 and the ceramic one is $999 any other options.
  3. Cheers, thanks for the info
  4. Ok "F" stands for emmision as so is "G", is it possible to run 2 matching pairs and one with say a "G"?
  5. My my mate got a pair of dellortos the other day, they have DHLA40 F Could anyone expalin what the "F" means please. He needs one more carb and does it have to have "F" at the end. cheers glen.
  6. Hi freshin_j Im not against sunroofs but from my prespective i would have only bought it to do up and then move on again. I dont mind sunroofs but from a re-sale point of view it takes one or two G's off the car. I have been told that you cant repair a sunroof, even if you weld it, paint it, bog it what ever it will crack again. I always go with the theory of what ever floats your boat as far as modding cars go
  7. Thats it, we found it today but the gates were shut, we are going to have a good look at it tomorrow. He must have got it for around 4k i reckon. In the car yard he's got it on for $6990. Shame about the sunroof.
  8. Forgot to add that includes linkage between the carby's aswell. If you want the comlpete unit, manifold, balance bar included ready to just bolt on $400. If you just want the carbys with linkage then they will bolt up to a N36 manifold aswell. I tried them last night and they were fine. A great replacement for the dreaded Flattop carbys. I paid $550 for these original 240 carbs off Rob at ZShop last year. These carby's were intune. working and balanced before i pulled them off last night.
  9. I know i said 2" but thinking about it later judging by the size of the hats i would say they were around 2'1/4" carbs maybe a bit bigger, he just put hitachi fuel bowls on them After every race he was checking the head gasket for leaks running 13-1. Also the brakes were standard but the pads were a different story. Also ran as much rear bias as it would let him and yer he did through a bucket load of cash in the motor. He seemed to be a talented driver aswell.
  10. right on, its quite funny when you put it that way. Im interested in what Dimitri plans on doing next, and if i hadnt started my own engine build i would have taken some serious thought about his RB $1300 is very cheap, and if you had triples then almost the same power could be extracted.
  11. well my car will be up the back either way if i make it lol
  12. In which order do you plan on putting the Z's for the picture, year of production or you having all the 2 seaters first then the 2+2's?
  13. i just noticed this car WOW freakin awesome. Very well done.
  14. ahh i see you dont understand, if he could get it insured with shannons with the RB getting it regoed would be easy, drop the L donk back in, reg it, then drop the RB back in. to easy. Illegal yes but that why i said im not suggesting or anything you NSW guys forgot we only have to RWC once not every year. Good luck with the sale Dimitri. Are you going to do up your original motor?
  15. what do you mean?
  16. might come along rev as so will my mate mick, both in 260's 2+2's

  19. haha i always find that one funny, for me if i wanted a 2 seater i would have bought one. I just prefer the 2+2 thats all. I dont have 2 seater envy.

  21. added stripes and painted the wheels lowered the rear end and yer, changed my forum name to
  22. hello, thought i would dig up an old topic im undecided on cam shaft, len is running 72 degree cam while im in favour of a 74 degree cam. Is there anyone running a 74 and what is the rpm range that it kicks in? lens (engine builder) 72 cam sounds almost stock. Im running 10/1 comp, flattops standard bore, balanced crank, and triple 40 carbs the head has been tidied up. inlet matched. F54/N42 combo any advice
  23. it is down craig but im unsure as my car might not be ready, if it is i shall be there.
  24. hi, at the moment i figure it would be best to start with some chokes larger than 30mm which what is currently in the carbys but more so when the time is right i know where to go. Thanks for the info.
  25. haha im sure you will do that no worries
