It was clearly a joke insinuating a lack of comprehension by both author and reader. There was no swearing or vilifying language but rather a concise quip constructed in jest. Zedevan's paint job idea reminds me of a running shoe (addidas?) and considering the proportions of the ol' S30, is probably appropriate. Nice work Zedevan.

I think it has been mentioned before along with that photoshoot at the Nissan vault/museum. However I don't mind as eye candy is greatly appreciated any time.

My daily driver is insured through Shannons for $6,500. For those of you that made it to the Vic BBQ it was the red 2+2 with the dented drivers side front panel. My 2 seater that is awaiting restoration is only insured for what I paid for her, $2000. However I know there is no way in hell that I would be able to replace her for that small amount of money. Being unemployed sucks! One of the problems in the insurance market is that we only realy have one choice and that's Shannons. To insure your Z through another agency is long winded and complicated. It doesn't help the S30 when buffoons like Jeremy Clarkson insult a Nissan by refering to it as a jumped up Datsun. When people ask you (question to all) what you drive do you mention that it's a Datsun or do you just mention the Z part? I realise that technically Datsun is just an export badge and really our Zeds are Nissans, but I say Datsun with pride!

I vaguely recall a company by the name of Fuel Miser as having gasket kits for the Hitachi's, but after a quick google search I can't confirm this. Dose Fuel Miser sound familiar to anyone?

Congrats on the wins Scando! It just goes to show what Talent+Equipment can equal. The Z platform as a racing vehicle is phenomenal; weight distribution, drivetrain and suspension all coming together to whoop some arse!

After a request for help involving a passenger side window for a 260Z 2+2 fell through, I have one ready to mail. The person who requested it found one closer to home. I went to the effort of removing it from my parts car, cleaning it and bubble wrap packaging it so it would be a shame not to post it to someone, anyone. If you are in need of a passenger side window (perfect scratchless condition) for your 260Z 2+2 then PM me and it can be yours for the price of postage (approx $30-$40) I would rather post it than unpack it!

If you wish to email an image to someone simply compose your message in Microsoft outlook and then hit the attachment button. Navigate to the image you wish to send and select it. The image will now be attached to the bottom of your email as a clickable icon. If you wish to post an image on the forum there are various ways and means. Zedman240 has already mentioned the "Additional Options" method but this has the drawback of restricting your file size to less than 256kb. Another option is to load your image to an image hosting web site such as Photobucket (it's free and they don't hassle you with spam). Copy the URL for the image and Paste it into post reply field. From here you can do one of two things depending on your needs. Option 1, display image (consider bandwidth/size/content of image). To display the image directly on the forum highlight the URL that you have pasted into your Post Reply Field and click on the "Insert Image" button which is just above the emoticons. Hit post and your done. Option 2, display a link. To display a link to your picture highlight the URL that you have copy/pasted into the Post Reply Field and then click the "Insert Hyperlink" button which is next to the insert image button. Post your reply and your post will appear with your message and a link that people can click on to see your image. Furthermore you can use the gallery feature that is hosted by this forum and either direct people to your gallery or cut and paste the URL from the gallery into the post Reply field and follow either option 1 or 2 as discussed in the previous paragraph. I hope this helps.

Yeah we met up, I was wearing a shirt with LEVIS emblazoned across it. My avatar may be confusing you, I bought my daily driver which is memorable for it's dented panel. I think I met everyone at least briefly.

When I told my other half that she missed out on an in ground trampoline, she swore that she will make it next year. Perhaps we could convince RevZed to bring the jumping castle. The other thing that occurred to me is that if some of us could volunteer to help Gordon with the property preparations in the week leading up to next years event. I should be living closer to Melbourne next year so I could put my hand up. I think the beauty of having the get together at a private property like Gordons (rather than a park) is that we can all fell safe in leaving our most prized possessions (kids too) unattended and know that they wont get scratched or nicked.

What a fantastic day, (aside from 6 hours of driving) with so many Zeds and welcoming people.
