  1. Maybe Dalee's Mustard 240Z might qualify for that!!
  2. I wanna make the rear or a 2+2 into a trailer...
  3. Yea my manifold has aluminium towers but getting some fab'd and welded could turn out to be expensive so probably get a quote first. On my Lynx Manifold, that one ( the thread i posted on the first page) had the steel rose joints and are higher than the plastic ones and have more adjustment. Good linkages are essential to tuning as if one carb is activated just a little before the others it can throw the whole lot out.
  4. Maybe try the 260C or 280C.
  5. Gee no bites yet... i must have got the last set
  6. They sure should. Yours would have been worth Big Bucks with all the work and the fact that it was a feature car... The first 2+2 on the front page.
  7. Do you have a link for that Big D?
  8. Maybe to protect them you could have one of those sheets like you stick to your phone screen to stop it getting scratched... but a really big one
  9. Or like this.
  10. Hehehe gotta be fast around this neck of the woods any more details? I love the shape on these things.
  11. Not a Zed but seen them mentioned here. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/C110-Datsun-Skyline-240K-Nissan-260Z-240Z_W0QQitemZ330407152395QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Cars?hash=item4cedcd0b0b
  12. Here's a shot of the triples on my car with one of those Kamerai Manifold thingies. http://www.viczcar.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=131&pos=36 And i'm sure i've put this link up before. http://www.kameariusa.com/L6_IntakeMan.php
  13. Those triples in that link were never installed on my car, if you look under the Fuel System section you'll find the thread scoota and the three D's i actually had to modify my linkage to suit... Yea and probably a photo of your woes would help.
  14. In this thread http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,4120.0.html You'll find a picture that i uploaded of a polished Lynx Manifold that i set up over a period of a year. They have now flown to New Zealand.
  15. Yep i like the way you guys think. Thanks I'm sure Craig would be in too. A grand that would never go south... What would make me laugh is if in the next 12 months these Zeds went through a price hike.
  16. I'm sure i just heard Craig cursing from where i am.
  17. Dale asked for a full length grille so two were made from one. The standard grille has 7 slats so i used the top part of the of one of the grilles to create the bottom of the new grille. Four pieces of 16mm x 16mm aluminium channel were then fabricated to extend the grille the extra three slats we required for the bottom of the grille to meet the top of the Valance. This method uses the original mounting brackets for the top two points and the middle one on the bottom, the two lower side mounting point need to be shifted slightly. The centre of the bumper will be cut out. The new grille also uses the long thin bolts that hold the grille together and can be disassembled.
  18. An assessment of the two front Valance Panels showed them to be not fit for use so the accident damaged one was flattened and used as a template. The brackets were first drilled out and after the new valance was created and the edges folded it was bolted in place on the sides and then the three brackets were bolted into place and then welded to the new valance.

    Head work

Cool, i was just wondering if it was a repair or modification. I paid $300 to have my head done and they had to replace valves and get some welding done on the jackets too.

    Head work

Just wondering what sort of head work you are getting done... and everyone else try to keep your minds out of the Gutter.
  21. Nah don't listen to him... buy a thousand dollar basket case 2 seater and enjoy having no money for the next 7 years
  22. That one came from Lancefield.
  23. We also have the front panels stripped back....Bodywork will start soon.
  24. Wouldn't it depend on what it is in?
